ooh plants are interesting! I did a science project on how photosynthesis, cellular respiration and stale oxygen effect root growth! It was a lot of fun XD
It's going pretty well! I am sitting out of school this semester for a mental health break, but we collected samples of a ton of different species, some of which are pretty rare, and are waiting for the DNA to be sequenced. It takes quite a while to get your data back, but we're well on our way!
Fish respiration is actually really cool! They've got something called counter-current flow where their blood circulates in the opposite direction of the water coming in through their gills, to get the maximum amount of oxygen absorption from the water.
(I do not in fact know about dark matter -- isn't that physics?)
