I ended up showing a teeny bit of the heist and have them discuss Mage's situation a tiny bit...but wooo...I think you can get us out of this place in the next postie..and then we're pretty much done with this little side quest, and we can go to find that other important item to fix the portal

Aaand we need to now do a little bit of scheming to answer than question Stean asked and I'd say we can probably yeet ourselves right to the location...with perhaps another monster or two along the way?

Another monster is good with me! Do you have any kind of monster in mind? Maybe we could do something more mentally challenging than physically challenging—I love the mental gymnastics the cast of your RP Realm rp have all been doing, and it might be a fun way to change up this duo as we move into the final parts of it.

And oooh...I do love that...little bit of mental gymnastics also work great for some team bonding..and I do think that would make for a lovely change, we've already fought quite a few monsters and more physical fights may end up being boring too. A mental challenge for a change of pace sounds awesome.

And hmm...thinking of monsters that can affect you mentally...uhh...I don't have anything specific in mind...I don't believe I've actually created too many monsters with abilities like that...but looking back on our earlier descriptions of the forest, I think the place being haunted and very spooky was something we heavily leaned into in the earlier descriptions, so I was thinking some kind of ghostly apparition that makes them recall some horrible memories would be a proper route...we can then actually pay off the setup from earlier about the haunted forest...and also get some fun angst going...perhaps the creature could act like idk..a dementor from Harry Potter...and it kind of tries to make you think of horrible memories while feeding on happiness and such...?

Whaddaya think of that?

I love that! I already know exactly what memories I'd have Mage recall. Do we want to have a fake-out and make the ghost seem friendly? Or do we want to follow the dementor route and have them appear dark and terrifying?
