The angst has indeed begun...I had Harry get temporarily shocked by potentially the only person that could've caused him to pause in that situation so that he didn't realize what it actually was until it caught him in the bad memories...which should give plenty of time for the others to suffer further angst

Aaand I posted!! Threw in Harry's worst moments there...for extra angst...Stean recovered fairly quickly, he's genuinely got perhaps the least traumatic backstory of any of my characters so he hasn't seen anything particularly bad, but Harry's going to have this weigh on him a bit.

I love how we'll just have Stean vibing in the background while Harry and Mage are barely keeping themselves together for at least the next few posts.

Also me just realizing that Harry's story has an eerie parallel to this...with his own mother figure...I thought him mentioning that would be a nice point for him to eventually open up to Mage!!
