What made you smile today?

This was my second time driving at night, and I improved greatly. I was so scared and nervous that I would do something wrong, that I made a bunch of mistakes my first time. Tonight was so much better!

My friend's girlfriend is in my Spanish class! We started DMing on Zoom during class and plan on being study buddies this semester.

Well this was yesterday but nonetheless it was raining heavily last night and there was a flash of lightning and a huge roar of thunder. I love those kind of storms.

One of my friends knows that clam chowder is one of my absolute favorite foods. And on Saturday, she and her boyfriend made a huge pot of it for a group of friends. So, since I wasn’t there, she saved a bowl of it for me and gave it to me today <3 Good friend and good soup.

My family just won a trivia night!

Ahhh...I didn't write anything on this thread for a while...I must make more time for YWS

So...26th...I was making a video for my best friend's birthday and once I finally got it done, I'm sure I was smiling liking a lunatic for several hours
And...27th...I sent my best friend said video and she liked it soo...duhh..I was struck with the smiling disease for several more hours
28th....I helped my friend apply to university and her thank you message saying I was like an angel that came to guide her through the application had me smiling once more
29th...I found out one of the universities she applied to was the same as mine...I mean the chances are miniscule that we'd both go there but the odds are not zero so cue more smiling.

I smiley today because my sister sent me her puppy pictures and I died and went to heaven from cuteness.

I was eating lunch and my dad asked me if I needed anything, and little things like this always make my heart so warm <3

I'm going to watch Red Dawn and ET tonight for the first time. Yaay!

I got back the results for a test today...and I did better than I expected.

Today I woke up by French toast. Like, literally woke up by French toast because a plate was placed on top of my chest and I was forced to wake up lol

Made sleepy Carina kind of grumpy, but as soon as she woke up, she was smiley.

Every Monday I look forward to playing chess online with my sister - which we decided to start up a few months ago because AGHHH I miss her a lot. We usually try to zoom while playing so that we can chat as well.

Anywho today I logged into zoom to chat with her and lo and behold I immediately notice .... we are both wearing the EXACT same silly tshirt that we each got at a debate tournament wayyy back in 2014. xD It surprised me because of how unlikely it is that we would both coincidentally choose the same outfit without coordinating and that it would just happen to be the day we are zooming. But it made me really happy too because it's the exact type of thing I would be happy about if we were hanging out irl too and somehow I guess those sister-vibes are still strong even separated by 1200 miles.

Yesterday I got to see my oldest brother. I don't see him much because he moved out.

Umm...after mining for hours I found my first diamonds in minecraft...way less wholesome than some other things but damn these things are hard to find and I'm so happy I found some....
