also, I was wondering about what repeating characters think when they see other repeating characters in roleplays. is it common for repeat characters to remember past roleplays?

i’ve had my characters remember past roleplays but i know not everyone does that with their characters! or some people just use new characters every time which is an easy way to avoid the complications of that

i know when james sees people he’s seen in other rps is just like “oh. u again” unless they r friends then its “oh u again. hi”

ALSO MY PLAN IS THAt once they get walkin down the street a bit, they can run into the others!!

ohhhh then i totally see the appeal of this concept for a roleplay since the characters may know each other but, ya know, don't know lol except me bc im roleplay realm n00b

ya know, repeating characters remembering everything is a wild concept. like, these poor characters are just mindin their business then WHAM. author places them in a roleplay. then the roleplay dies or ends, and then WHAM. another one. and then another and then another... poor character just wants to be alone in their universe drinkin tea and tending to their fictional garden

That's alright, @ThePatchworkPilgrims! Life happens, and I know I haven't been all that on top of roleplays lately myself.

I just have a quick request. I saw that you had reactions from both Lacey & Steph in your post, but that's not really something we do in roleplays on YWS. Some roleplays may allow it, but it's not something I allow in my roleplays because you never really know how someone is going to have their character react to what is being said.

I actually mentioned it in the rules post of the roleplay:

4. Please don't write for anyone else's characters. It's hard to predict what someone else might have their characters do, and it takes away some of the fun for the other writers.

I'm really sorry to ask this, but could you go back and edit your post so it only really has what Milo is doing? @Elinor and I can write our characters' reactions after you edit.
