Give a Haiku Contest

Giving and receiving gifts is one of the best parts about Birthday Parties right? In honor of YWS Birthday Week I'm challenging you all to give out haikus around the site! And to add to the fun we'll make it a contest!
The challenge is to see who can give out the most haikus to other YWS users! The contest will run all week starting Monday (Nov 11), until Saturday midnight (EST), so you have plenty of time to craft those haikus. If you'd like, you can use the hashtag #YWSBirthdayHaiku with your post!
Rules
1) Each haiku entry must be unique and written by you.
2) Each haiku must be written with a proper 5/7/5 syllable count (how to write a haiku directions at bottom of post).
3) To prevent spamming, each contest participant may not post more than 1 haiku on a person’s wall. (Though multiple people could post on 1 person's wall)
4) All haiku entries need to be saved in the contest thread so we can see who wins! Simply copy-paste the url-link when you post a haiku and make a single thread below to keep track of how many you've written throughout the week.
Prizes
First place will get A WINNER’S HAIKU and 1000 points.
Second place will get 500 points.
Third place 250 points.
And everyone who participates will get the joy of writing & giving haikus!
How to Write a Haiku:
