So she knew, then.

Even if she didn't want to admit it, she had to know as well as him why it would say M. Tailor on her door. Ringly wasn't her birth name. Tailor had to be the name of the family she had come from.

Tim wasn't sure what to make of that knowledge.

Alex was caught in the middle of the group. Sarah in her own world, thinking about her past love. She'd been avoiding Alex's gaze ever since she came back from the hallway. What did she know?

Tim and Megara talking about birth names, which was a conversation she couldn't follow. And Bo, standing in the doorway. He seemed like he needed a friend.

"Is everything okay?" She asked him. "I don't think we're actually on the Titanic. I don't know why Sarah said that."

Kirux puffed out his cheeks when he realized Ms. Sarah still hadn't noticed him, so he resorted to waving a hand in front of her face instead. Maybe she was so busy looking at the water that she hadn't noticed him?

Sarah broke from her trance when she saw the boy trying to get her attention.

"Oh, I'm sorry," she said. "I was thinking about him, I suppose."

He stared back at her with wide eyes.

"I wish I could reassure you. But I'm a little afraid too."

He frowned. She didn't get it!

He gestured at the boat around them, hoping that she'd understand the real meaning. Maybe he should have talked to Megara? She knew sign language, but he thought Ms. Sarah understood him, too.

He still didn't know what the Titanic was...

Hey folks, I'd like to do a little time jump to get us closer to the time of the movie. The idea is that we'd mostly go on to explore on our own, but some our characters may hang out in the gap, explore the ship, go back to their room, do whatever. Thoughts/suggestions? I'd say it's about noon right now, and the movie's at eight. Once I post, you can all say what your characters have been up to in gap.

I guess the other thing we'd have to figure out is who would have hung out with who and donee what, and who would have been alone.

A timeskip sounds good to me! I think Tim would probably go back to his room, and Kirux would stick around with Sarah since she's the character he knows the best right now. :)

I haven't forgotten about this, just want to write a post when I have the time to devote to it. So far I've been really busy, but definitely want to make the time for it later this week or this weekend.

They stayed out on the deck for a while.

Sarah was starting to get unnerved by the fact that there seemed to be no other passengers on the ship.

But it was so calm, so relaxing, that she wasn't sure that she wanted to do anything about it any time soon.

She started to entertain the notion that maybe she had died in the night somehow, but she couldn't guess why. She'd never been sick, never even had the slightest of symptoms. Had someone killed her in the night without ever waking her? As unlikely as it was, she supposed it wasn't outside of the realm of possibility.

Eventually, the seven began to drift in their own private directions. Even though they'd been together since they'd woken up, no one really said anything about where they were going. Alex went off alone. The other girls walked off, as did Tim. Soon it was just her and Kirux.

"Do you want to see if this ship has a place where we can get some ice cream?" She asked.

He seemed like he could use a friend. Before long, the sun went down, and it was time for the movie to start.

It's night time now. Feel free to catch up with what your character was up to in the few hours beforehand!

Kirux was very happy to get some ice cream, and was even more happy to spend time with Ms. Sarah. Ms. Sarah was really nice. He wished he could talk with her more easily, but she didn't know sign language or how to read lips. He didn't even have his notebook on him, so he mostly had to try acting out what he wanted to say.

But he was used to it!

By the time the movie started, Kirux was both full of energy and sugar. He hadn't gotten out of his onesie yet, and wasn't planning on doing it anytime soon. Plus, he still had Klein, so the movie was going to be awesome!

When Tim emerged from his room that night, his favorite pair of pajamas had been discarded for an outfit more fitting of his Timothy Jackson Drake: a collared white shirt, black dress pants and loafers. He left the top button undone, and didn't bother with a tie.

There had been another outfit of interest there, too. Tim had made sure to hide it as far back in his room's closet as he could; he could only hope that no one looked that far.

Well, he was ready for the movie.

Straightening out his hair, Tim emerged from his room and made his way to the theater.

I am SO absurdly late to replying to this and I'm sorry - but would it be okay for Bo and Alex to hang around? I wanted to have him reply to her but he would appreciate her checking in on him and would be chill exploring the ship w/her if that's ok?? I want to write up a post to get things moving but I'm not sure if you'd want that!

Megara went to her room. For roughly three minutes. She thought about changing out the nightgown for something else, maybe something a little dressy or just more practical but she decided against it. The gown was comfortable, and it felt good to wear white. Almost like the fabric itself would prevent the usual violence from happening. People always complained about bloodstains on white fabric. How hard they were to remove. If that was the case, some twisted, childish form of logic told her that bloodstains just wouldn't happen. The girls who wore the nice white lace like this didn't get into fights. She could be one of those girls for the night.

Her contemplation over, she emerged from her room. For once, she had a problem with her cane itself. It ruined the illusion. It was a weapon. A blade, concealed where blades often were, and in the bulb an antidote to the poison that coated the blade. Anyone she cut would be dead in minutes. She'd almost killed Jason that way, though not with this blade. She wondered if she should tell Tim about the time she almost murdered his brother.

She thought about all of this as she made her way to the theater, whatever that was.

Winter changed in her room into a simple grey dress with a silver belt and wide sleeves and a train. She had always liked the idea of wearing a dress with a train. Summer had gotten to, once. She had been the most beautiful girl alive that day, and Winter had been proud. Winter had been the one to braid her hair. Summer had been like her work of art.

She reached out with her mind. Summer still was not there.

Winter frowned as her fingers worked her hair out of the braids they were in. They needed to be redone differently. Winder was bored with the style.

It was unlikely that they had not passed over a place of death recently. Places of mass death and feasting were everywhere in the sea, Winter had discovered that when she had taken an offer to sail with some lovely men to the islands off the coast. She did not know at the time why she had wanted to go there, but the men had sung such joyful songs, the journey was worth the destination. And she had had fun on the islands. There were many happy people there, and many angry people as well. The angry people were not kind, so Winter made them bleed.

She left her room once she had finished quickly arranging her hair into newly elaborate plaits. The new style looked quite lovely if she was to say so herself. A few steps into the hall she ran into the dark-haired boy. His name had been Tim, if she recalled correctly. She wondered, absently, if that had changed.

"Hello," she greeted him with a smile, staring past him out a small circular window. The sea was quite beautiful at night, though it wasn't the same without the sailor men. They had wonderful stories to tell with their songs.

I kept it pretty generic b/c I wasn't sure what they'd find apart from just,,, a pretty standard cruise ship I guess!! And also I'm lazy... so I hope this works!

When Alex came to ask how he was doing, Bo found it an easy way to change the topic and change the scene. Since it seemed there weren't many answers to be found in the icebergs passing by, he suggested they explored the ship, and that was just what they did.

It was nice to have someone to poke around with. It helped Bo keep a steady head - it helped distract him, and it was always better to have someone to stay steady for around. There was something about surrounding himself with people that kept him from unraveling, and on a ship surrounded by water, he needed it.

He didn't really explain the whole fear of oceans thing to Alex, but she seemed to understand enough from what wasn't said that she didn't push the idea of going back outside again. Instead, they made their way all around the ship.

It was massive, and they maybe only saw half of it before they noticed the time on a clock hanging in one of the many long hallways.

It was close to the showing time for the movie the others wanted to see. They agreed it would probably be good to regroup, even if it was just for a movie, so they made their way back, retracing their steps as best they could. They got a little turned around, but they found their way back eventually. They ran into Frank Sinatra again, and he pointed them in the right direction.

When they found the door to the theater, they could hear it starting already inside, and Tim's friend was making her way from the other end of the hall.

"Oh, hey!" Bo said with a wave of his hand. "I don't think I caught your name."

I'm assuming he's talking to Meg, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Megara turned to face him, a little startled to be addressed directly by someone who wasn't Tim. "Hello," she returned his greeting, "I'm Megara, I don't think I caught your name either?" It was a sort of weird way to ask for someone's name, but she went with it. Honestly, she was too flustered to do much more than parrot what she'd heard right away, having been so lost in thought.

She wouldn't admit that though. Not ever.
