On Stolen Wings OOC

I have a couple questions. I've started writing the first post, and need people's opinions on some things so we can all be on the same page.
1) What do you think the Conclave headquarters looks like/where is it located in your mind? Forest, cave, mountains, huge creepy mansion on a hill? You name it, it's an option, so I want to make sure everyone agrees with what I write.
2) WHY is the Conclave placing spies (Malik included) inside the group? There are several possible options, so I'll list a few:
a. The secret person is actually one of their warriors and they don't want it being revealed.
b. They want to reach the person first, so they are trying to place red herrings and basically throw the group off track.
c. For some reason, they are wanting to kill the group members.
d. They are trying to recruit some of the group members.

Please, anyone a part of this storybook, it would greatly help me if you could just leave your thoughts on these questions. It is very much appreciated!

Well, the location is on the map in the main SB post, so go check that out, everyone! And I like to imagine it's inside the mountain? Probably a nice dark, damp cave? Low lighting, shadowy corners, etc, etc. You get the idea, lol.

Secondly, they're placing spies within the Council and the group because that's what they've always done... And probably because they're worried the Council are onto them? They obviously don't like how the Council does things and I imagine there was a pretty huge disagreement between the Original Conclave Members (who may still be alive, bc dark magic, hello) and the Original Council Members (who are probably all dead).

Also, all of the above reasons in @winterwolf0100's post, tbh. XD

I'd just like to let you all know that I'd prefer third person, past tense! If you don't mind trying to stick to that, please do so. Past present is okay, but can we please try to avoid first person, at least? Thanks, guys!

That's perfectly fine by me, Scarlett! Third person-past tense is my preferred narrating style anyway, so I'm perfectly happy with that. (First person unnerves me a little because of how personal it is. I'm naturally unused to that degree of familiarity with the protagonist. XD)

I'm so sorry to do this, especially since the spots are limited, but I just don't think I can hold up this SB. I was really hoping to but life has sort of smacked me in the faceand it's simply not doable atm, so unfortunately I have to drop.

@Omnom, I actually asked @ScarlettFire on the group chat on Discord. We said it could count as Stella’s second ability...

I said Telepathy was standard. I also believe I said sharing senses was probably also a standard? But perhaps rarer. I can't remember so don't quote me on this. XD

Also, @Omnom probably just like a briefing before a mission (think like the brief before you start a shift, if that applies to you). Like, here's the situation, here's your mission, here's the people you're working with, off you go.
