Hey peeps,

I want a group of about 4 people for a Poetry Exchange. If I get 5-8 people, I'll run two groups, if I get 9-14 people, I'll run a bigger exchange. For now, I just want a little exchange.

What It Is

An exchange is where you and your friends toss a bunch of work into a pool to review one another's work, and then you pull from the pool to determine what you review.

It's like a Secret Santa. You are assigned someone to review, and then you review them.

What You Need

  • You need at least one poem you want reviewed by the people involved in the exchange.
  • That poem must be posted on YWS as we will do our reviews for points.
  • You must have less than three works in the exchange. I will only accept three works from any one person, no more.
  • You need time to review 1-3 poems within the course of a week.

How to Apply

Post in here with a link to your YWS work[s] you would like to submit.
Watch your PM box once you see 4 people have signed up.

Master List

1) BlueAfrica
2) LadyLizzLovelace
3) soundofmind
4) alliyah
5)DemonGoddess
6) Pompadour
7)

I see there's already 4 people, is there room for another poet among you?

I think I wrote both of these for NaPo, so they're old but not a ton of reviews on either & room for improvement!

1. When Spring Has Passed
2. False Impressions
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

Alright, here are my three poems:

For you have never done anything

water fire stars

bowing standing flying

The first one barely got any reviews and the last two are the same poem but "water fire stars" is a revised version. They have a lot of reviews already but in "water fire stars" most of the reviews aren't really... helpful, per se. I'm planning on a third draft, so I need reviews that are super helpful. Sorry if you already reviewed.

i enjoy repeating things twice in poetry. but only ever twice. nothing tragic ever happens thrice if i have control of it
