ireally wish I had been more prepared for Nano this year, as I am now feeling the low sides of it, I'm just STUCk even though I did 2k today, I don't think I will finish *cries*
It is actually entirely possible to finish NaNo within a week. I did it in 7-8 days while going to school and studying for exams, so if you try hard enough, you might be able to.
I can't wait for NaNoWrimo 2009!! I absolutly loved the last one (and I surprised myself by not actually failing....) So I can't wait for 2009! I have to actually finish my nano novel, but its going pretty well. I think I'll do the sequel for this year. Though I need to plan it out more once i finish this one...

So, you're allowed to continue stories as long as you don't use what was written before and say that you wrote it 'cause that'd be cheating? In which case, I'm ready!
But it's over eight months away... Grrr!!! I think I'll just make my own little one this summer~

I'd love to participate, but my parents already think I spend too much time writing.. They'd probably throw my laptop out the window if they found me up at midnight in a desperate attempt to reach the wordcount.

Yeah..I think my dad was considering doing that. But it was his laptop, so he really couldn't. Though he probably wanted it back...but I kept up some of my grades so I guess he was thinking 'Well, at least she hasn't been bumped down for math because of this'...but he was really proud of me when I finished. He was probably the happiest because I finished before we went to my grandparents house where they *would* have thrown the laptop out the window, regardless of who's it was, how many words away I was, or if I had saved or not.

I know my parents will be really angry if I spend a lot of time on writing. They love that I write, but they want me to have a "life", too. Psh. Writing is my life. Well, part of it.
