I was wondering, This is just for encouragement Right?

If you cheat you just feel guilty and you don't really win anything but you feel proud of making a novel in 30 days.

Its Great Idea! Yet I have no idea what my novel is going to be, Its in 3 months isnt it?

Well, you have all of next month (September) and the month after (October). Then, you don't sleep for 30 days, just for fun. ;)

Yes, I'm counting down. :) I still have no idea what I'm going to write about, though. :( *shrugs* I'll figure it out.

This is the first year I've done this... *swallows hard*

Everyone look me up on the NaNo site! My username is Red.Ink.Rain

I'm nervous...I'm not sure I'll get it done. But I'm excited to try. What I'm planning to do is totally different from anything I've ever written before.

I'm a first-timer. A NaNo virgin, if you will.

I hope I can actually finish the novel without giving up halfway through due to busyness. Hopefully I will stay strong, though! My hope is to get a good chunk done that first weekend so that I can have some room to slack off during the week when I have more homework.

This is my first time doing it and I'm kind of excited.

I'm also hoping that I'll have enough time to finish my novel, what with work and all that other stuff... you know... life.

I have no idea what my plot is... only that it's going to be a chick-lit novel... which is a genre i've never written in before so i'm kind of nervous about how it's going to turn out.

I'm definitely doing NaNo this year! I don't think my parents considered how much this is going to effect me in school. I guess they'll find out when they start seeing me stay up later and drinking WAY more coffee. I had my idea extremely detailed and planned out in June, but then I realized that it was so planned out that I had to do it for nano (because then I won't stop writing it at the epilogue *sight*-that was so pathetic of me). I'm at a sleep-over on Halloween, so I probably won't be able to write my heart out when we're all talking. man, I can't wait. 50K, here I come!

I realized that I said I'd be gone for only two weeks...but I was gone for much longer.I hope to stay on this time. :)

I have an idea I haven't started yet... and entering this might make me actually finish a novel... except i like literally have no time. Like my life goes like this: wake up, go to school, go to field hockey, come home, do hw, go to bed and start all over. And when I'm supposed to be doing hw I go on this site sometimes. (sshh) and on the weekends it's science fair, hw and working.

I reallyyy wanna though!!! maybe I'll do it myself as a personal goal a month when I have more time? and then it'll get me prepared fro next year... when I might actually do it? I don't knoww!

And I have a question, can you make up a plot line and charcters and all that before it starts, and then just write out the actual novel just during that month?

This is my third year participating in NaNo, and hopefully I can get my act together and go for a win. Previous attempts have failed... hard. But, I am uberexcited and doing all sorts of research and stuff.

You are going to love some of your characters because they are you, or some facet of you, and you are going to hate some characters for the same reason.
