@TheFantasy14 Ah, yes... Very interesting indeed. The plot thickens...

Also, Riley's kinda short. Around Ryker's size, only a few inches taller. Janey often teases that she's legal midget sise. (Janey is based off my older brother, who makes short jokes about me all the time.)
I was going to have Emma change when she is in her backyard. Possibly with Gwen. She is swinging on this old swing set that was left when she moved in. She jumps off, but instead of hitting the ground she stays floating, and she is a lot smaller. The gradual change might be random feathers all around her body. Whenever she sees them she plucks them. Ouch.

During the time when they're all discovering their powers, I think Neon's just going to be a stray kitten that everyone starts fawning over. And then, when they've pretty much realized that he's the final Animorpher, boom! Neon cat, ladies and gentlemen.
The hardest part of writing science fiction is knowing actual science. The same applies for me and realistic fiction.
During the time that he's discovering his powers, Dan will walk up and down his room in eagle form, excitedly trying to remember every encyclopedia entry he has ever read about the Martial Eagle.
Virals!! Yes, I love those books!! Well, I've only read Code and I'm currently in the middle of Virals, but I've read it none the less. I'm so good at reading things in order //late to the party
I'm liking everyone's relationships with Ryker. This will be a lot of fun ^_^ I might post something like that, but with everyone who's already posted it might just end up being redundant.
Question: how long have all our characters known each other? Have they been in classes for a while or is this like, their first class together? That'll definitely affect some of the relationships I'm sure. Ignore me if there's a super obvious answer to this question or something. It's late, I can't promise everything that comes out of my brain right now will make sense. 9:50pm is late, okay? Shh. Don't judge.
P.S. Lefty, those images you made are just a-m-a-z-i-n-g. So cool.
Noelle is the name, reviewing and writing cliffhangers is the game.
Writer of fantasy, action/adventure, and magic. Huzzah!

And... that's a good question. Hmm... I hadn't thought about that. I just assumed they were all in the same grade/class together since Freshman year but that's probably unlikely...

Oliver tends to ignore Mike when he’s in a debating or argumentative mood. He really doesn’t like loud noises or confrontation, and arguing tends to get pretty loud in his experience. Usually, if Mike isn’t in such a mood, Oliver will enthusiastically share some space facts. So long as Mike doesn’t ask for any crackers too soon, this acquaintanceship might grow into a decent friendship.
Oliver doesn’t know Gwen very well. He’s meant to talk to her sometime, but always gets distracted or preoccupied. He’d love to be friends, but that’s not likely unless he stops getting distracted.
@LeftyWriter ~ Layla
Oliver has very little idea as to who Layla is. He barely remembers her being his partner for a project a while ago, but he can’t remember a thing about her. He’s seen her around and caught her staring at him from afar a few times, but he’s not sure how to introduce himself. Afterall, he isn’t the best at making friends.
Oliver sees Emma at lunch every day, and occasionally other places, but he’s never introduced himself and tries to keep away from her. Why? Because that’s what his awkward, shy brain tells him to do when he has a crush. He’s found himself daydreaming about Emma rather than space and alternate universes and all his usual thoughts more recently and he’s very confused as to what to do about it. He really doesn’t want to come off as creepy or anything, so when he catches himself gazing at her, he quickly buries his face in a book, or finds his watch incredibly interesting. Oliver’s definition of creepy is a bit odd. He hopes it isn’t creepy to say that he finds Emma really cute.
Well well well, what a surprise. Someone Oliver doesn’t know much about! Who would’ve thought? Oliver hasn’t seen very much of Neon at all, but he’s heard of him and thinks this kid’s name is awesome. Really, after he hears Neon’s name, he just stops paying attention to everything else said and wonders why his parents named him that. Oliver hopes to meet Neon one day.
@Blaspherica ~ Hannah
Oliver finds Hannah annoying and intimidating. That is all.
Oliver doesn’t know him at all. He can’t even remember what Dan looks like. He slightly remembers something about someone pointing Dan out and calling him the “animal expert”, and Oliver isn’t a big fan of animals (thanks to his grandpa’s dogs) so he keeps his distance.
Oliver and Ryker are well on their way to being best friends. They’ve known each other for two years now, and though it hasn’t been that long, they’ve spent a lot of time together. Oliver knows a bit about Ryker’s issues, but he gets the feeling that Ryker isn’t telling him everything there is to know. Oliver doesn’t press him on it, though. He’s glad to have a good friend to hang out with.
Oliver’s been approached by Riley occasionally before, but she always quickly turns the other way and hurries off. This happening is a bit confusing to Oliver, but he usually just shrugs and returns to whatever he was doing before. Oliver isn’t all that interested in knowing Riley, though he knows she and Emma are best friends, or seem to be from his perspective. He’s considered addressing Riley the next time she approaches him, and asking if she could introduce him to Emma. Then the shy part of his brain tells him to stop thinking like that and return to his crackers.
@Nightcrawler ~ Jinx
Oliver is intrigued by Jinx. To Oliver, Jinx seems like a cool, mysterious dude. His nose ring is a bit intimidating, and Jinx towers over him, but Oliver still attempts to talk to him. Usually there isn’t much of a reply and Oliver just awkwardly walks away, but he’s determined to befriend Jinx. Or, at least get more than a few words out of him.
@Wolfie36 ~ Charlotte
Oliver and Charlotte have known each other for about three years. The two shared a serious case of introversion and slowly but surely became best friends. They listen to each other’s troubles and do their best to help one another out, and Oliver’s told Charlotte all about his crush on Emma. Charlotte is the only person besides Ryker who Oliver will share his crackers with, and one of the few people who won’t tell him to shut up about space after he’s been rambling for a good half hour.
