@Halfbloodcheetah, those sound reasonable. Just remember to add the other three aspects as well, as laid out in that quote. (I'll read your character profile, along with those of @CandyWizard and @Blaspherica, in about eight hours from now, when I'll have access to my PC again.)
@LordZeus, the Maze will specify when you are allowed to kill other participants, but for the most part, the characters will ignore/sabotage each other. But "alliance" is probably less accurate than "agreement not to kill each other and helping each other to stay alive, for now". Whether another character chooses to engage or ignore you depends on the characters, their Guilds, and the stage in the Trials. Each of the ten Guilds are alligned with each second one. If you take the image in the first post, that means:
1. Azorius Senate + House Dimir + Rakdos Cult + Gruul Clans + Selesnya Conclave = more or less allied
2. Simic Combine + Orzhov Syndicate + Izzet League + Golgari Swarm + Boros Legion = more or less allied
So Shade, being Guildless, could side with anyone, but he will probably side with the first half; thus, he will more readily kill Revan and Nef, members of the Orzhov Syndicate, while he might consider helping Raeve and Tryk, members of House Dimir and a fellow Guildless, respectively. This will be properly discussed once we get there.
@CandyWizard, Mannaric can be a light elf, since they are commonly associated with the Azorius Senate. As for the Selesnya Conclave character... a technological being would fit better with the Izzet League, since the Conclave mostly consists of light elves, humans, centaurs, and avian races. They, along with the Simic Combine, claim to be the protectors of nature, so do you see the problem...? (Who has the rightful claim is a hotly debated topic among the two Guilds.)
EDIT: All character profiles have been approved. (Blaspherica, just add a duration for Antipathy and Foresight, please.)
