PMD: Seventeen Plates DT

@AstralHunter, Reshiram is the Pokémon of truth. She knew what was happening before everyone else, and he only one that knows the truth. Because of that, she had to disappear. Did she run away herself? Did someone kill her? I'll reveal at some point.

And on another note, if you want a description of a plate dungeon, please be the first to PM me with a list of what dungeons you want. It makes things easier for me.

My inspiration for naming my character Aegeas was the Aegean Sea, which is located next to Greece. I found out the mythological explanation for the naming of the Aegean Sea, and it centers around a man named Aegeus (similar name, huh?), King of Athens. He was the father of Thesus, who slew the Minotaur. When Thesus was about to head for this task, Aegeus instructed Thesus to hoist a white sail in the event that Thesus was able to kill the Minotaur. Thesus forgot this advice, and his fleet of ships returned bearing black sails. Aegeus, in grief, committed suicide by throwing himself off the heights of Athens and drowning in the sea, supposing his son was dead. Thus, as the story goes, the sea was named after the man who had drowned, and it is currently known as the Aegean.

I'll just let that sink in for a moment, because I honestly didn't expect that either. I mean, seriously, I named my character after a sea named for a drowned man? I want to laugh so bad right now. XD.

@AstralHunter Twinkiel, the Mew Duo, Zulu and the Twinkle Squad of NPCs (yes, this is a thing) are already goin' there and we're kinda full. One more human could eventually be a bit troublesome, transport-wise.

Oh really? Hmm... Well Flurry will be able to fly after evolving (because Ghost. Oh and because anime showcase), so she can totally come with us afterwards. Then we'll divide the group accordingly if it's too big. And don't worry about my plans: I can adapt them a bit

@TheSilverFox I am familiar with that legend. I would've immediately caught the reference if I wasn't used to read the legend in my native language, in which Aegeus is called "Égée" (because French).
...Twinkiel is SO making this reference when he meets Aegeas. It's a must. I'm doin' it. Seriously, I will. And you know what happens when I say that...
Well, um... For the sake of telling a little anecdote as well, Twinkiel's name comes mainly from one thing:

-An actually Flaaffy of mine that died at Mt.Moon. Cpt.Twinkiel was mah main 'Mon, and I was training her (yes, it was a girl) against a Solrock. ONE FREAKIN' MOVE away from victory, the Solrock used Rock Throw... And it was a Critical Hit. Nuzlocke rules, so my Cpt.Twinkiel died. I lost my whole team soon after those events. I then attempted a Pokemon SoulSilver Nuzlocke and found a new Cpt.Twinkiel, but this time she died at the first Gym. I swore to myself that if i'd find another Flaaffy, I'd be more careful.
4 badges later, I encountered a male Flaaffy, caught it and named it Antwinkiel ("similar to Twinkiel"). The Nuzlocke is currently in pause, but that Flaaffy ain't joinin' the grave. I SWEAR IT.
The personality of teh character comes from me, though XD

Any particular reasons for you guys' Humons names or Pokemon species?

I am aware of the speed thing... but considering she will not be evolving for a while, that's not really relevant at the moment.

For favorite character, I vote Jewels because she reminds me of me best friend.

Robusto, since Jewels and Flurry are not assigned to a team, maybe the girls could have their own missions for the time being. Hunter, is that cool with you as well?

HOLD ON @Buggiedude2340, I said the characters we all STARTED with! The ones we originally created! No NPC's! Also, I see this working. So let's say Riley joins up for the Insect Plate, (because you likely want to write the Zap Plate battle,) AFTER they've found the Spooky Plate? That way, Flurry has evolved and can tag along! Any objections? And yes, I think it'll be nice for Riley to have a male friend, even though Twinkiel is, well, Twinkiel. He'll probably say something about how much better it is than being with Gabriel. XD And to think those two were ALMOST friends. But boy, did I throw a wrench in that.

On an unrelated note, I've changed my signature with a quote of my very own making. I think it's pretty clever. What about you guys?

And Char, I highly doubt Riley can rescue Articuno in less time than it takes for Twinkiel's group to reach the Insect plate. If I recall correctly, that was the first destination.

Wait, we're voting for a favorite character? Darn... But nonono, I wouldn't dare vote for my own, I really enjoy writing Twinkiel but I can't do that, I'd feel narcissistic upon doin' that. He's ME. Ain't gonna vote for myself.

...Yeah, I think I'll go with Flurry. The duo Flurry/Shaymin was the first one that I enjoyed, and Flurry herself is just super fun overall.
But it's really cruel to choose D: I like Zulu and Jewels a lot, too. And Bloodmoon's amazing as well. Wait, what? You guys both write the Plates battles? Huh. I'll find a way to compensate, then.

I kind of agree with Buggie's objection there, however, @Buggiedude2340 I think you underestimate the difficulty of getting to that plate (yes, the insect one), considering that it is placed near some criminal hideout, and one of my personal surprises is awaiting us there, too. In short, it all depends on how well will Riley's escapade go.
Oh yeah. Lookin' forward to THAT conversation. You sure ruined that friendship alright But yeah at least Riley will have a Humon to talk too that is not a love interest or a rival. And there's always Zulu. And the Twinkle Squad.
