@AstralHunter I COULD NOT release my Pokémon, however, I was never able to force myself to do it after my first (and failed) Nuzlocke, it was to painful. I'd just put them all in my "Grave" box. Oh, My Twinkiel... I promise never to let you die ever again
...*spots the mistake* whoops. That happened. Oh well.
"Is there a limit to how much living I can live with my life? How will I know if I've gone too far? And why did I spend my life savings on sunglasses for a whale? I shall find the answers... to these questions."
I was quite shocked to find that @Tortwag had gotten my gender wrong, but then I saw it was a mistake. Phew, I was worried there for a second.
@AstralHunter, please don't get the wrong idea here. I'm not stealing anything. I put the general question out in the DT, and Tort was kind enough to allow me one of his reserved plates. Speaking of which, Tort, if you could PM me those Zap Plate details ASAP, I'd really appreciate it. Be sure to include some specific things you want to happen, since it is your Plate, and I respect that.
Remember how I said I know who would win? I was talking about Twinkiel.
BUT @15253 AND @Buggiedude2340, YOU CHEATED! Humph, okay, 15253 betraying me, I understand, but you, Buggie? I never imagined. ( XD )
And thank you guys so much for all the best wishes and support for my short story, as well as Tale of a Charmander. I really appreciate it all. And the compliment, @TheSilverFox, did not go unnoticed. Thank you so much. But I'm warning you once again, my style is to write, edit and publish. When someone reviews my work, I DO NOT edit that work afterwards, but I store the information away for later chapters and other things. As a result, Chapter 1 is the worst chapter in the tale, and they improve progressively from there. If you're okay with that, by all means, read on. I don't have many readers on that story as it stands. There just aren't that many Pokemon fans.
@Charizard821 Well your gender is kind of displayed under your profile pic. Hard to miss, in my eyes. And yeah, that's precisely what I said: I don't mind you writing one of the battles; you asked for it, I accepted (mostly because I have a backup battle idea), so it's fine. ...Oh, you mean the details about how I intended for it to go (AKA my plans)? Some specific things, yes, you DO need my plan. Okay then. Lemme grab some cake, eat it real quick and send you the PM. Then I'll resume my homework.
I'm still surprised that Twinkiel won. But that's great support from y'all, I'll just keep on going my way with him. He'll evolve more and more, for your entertainment
You're welcome! And I used to function like that (I still do for some chapters), but after a encounter with a... harsh reviewer, to say the least, I changed my mind. And there are many pokemon fans, actually, but most of them (including me) hide. I stopped hidin' it mostly because of this SB. ...Speakin' of which I didn't meet many Poké-fans in YWS, that's kinda true. But hey! THere was a Pokemon-themed Review Day once! That means something!
"mah allegiance ess always to mah selfs" <--- Words of wisdom. Hoopa would be proud.
"Is there a limit to how much living I can live with my life? How will I know if I've gone too far? And why did I spend my life savings on sunglasses for a whale? I shall find the answers... to these questions."
The greatest irony of all is that my free time almost always seems to occur at the end of a school-day. XD. Or maybe it occurs on the weekend, but I never seem to have the urge to write at that time (unless I haven't finished something I partially completed on Friday, unless the deadline happens to be on a Friday and I'm scrambling to finish it...). I'd have time in Spring Break (which I'm pretty sure is the 23rd-27th of March, or something like that. It's either the last full week of March or the last partial week of March that extends into April. Wait, no, it's the last full week of March - there's a Debate Club session on April Fool's Day. How funny. ), but other plans have arrived for that particular week and I will not able to write during Spring Break. Thank goodness I can handle my schoolwork enough to where it isn't a problem, giving me the ability to write when I want to. Oh, and if you can't tell, this is usually how I talk in my house - I jump from topic to topic a lot.
I'm probably going to be jumping in and out of the YWS throughout the day. So if you see the online count raise by 1 and lower by 1, then you know who it is. Of course, for the remainder of the morning, I'm open, so feel free to send an IM if you want (right now, it is 10:10 A.M., and I'll be off in an hour.)
Yeah, that's about it. Have a good time, everyone! I'm so tired that I wish I could go to sleep right now, but I can never seem to sleep when the sun's in the sky, so.....yeah, at least I'm not cranky.

Also, we still have not finalized the teams for the next dungeons. Thus far, it looks like this:
Icicle Plate: Aegeas, Gabriel, Fleur, and someone else.
Insect Plate: Twinkiel, Riley, Ren, and a member of Twinkiel's company.
Frost is MIA/BETRAYAL, which leaves us with Jewels and Flurry. @Robusto, since all the plates have been claimed, is there reconnaissance or some-such that needs doing? (I seem to recall a necessity on legendary pokemon? Is that still the case?)

@Tortwag, someone criticized your revision style? I mean, I'm know we're supposed to offer helpful criticism, but I don't think it's fair to bash somebody's individual style. That's like me saying I hate the style @TheSilverFox writes. There's no real helpful criticism there. Just a rude comment. (You're an excellent writer by the way, Silver.) I know what it's like to receive the sharp end of multiple reviewers. Not too good a feeling, let me tell you.
@Buggiedude2340 Ren is with Aegeas' party. And I have Zulu in my group. That aside, @Charizard821 currently writin' the PM.
Oh, it's bash, but it's actual criticism as well. I mean... Argh, I'll just copy/paste the dialogue. I was a bit frustrated, but I managed to keep my cool. Spoiler
Prismatic-Memories: "Heeyy this sounds pretty interesting. Though it's a little bit bland ((for me)) since there's nothing giving a visual. For the beginning paragraph, it sounded kind of desperate to sound sophisticated made the following words after dull out/rushed." Me (As Glyphayel): "Hi! Thanks for the feedback! I can assure you that nothing about this Prologue is rushed nor desperate, so deeply sorry if it gives you this impression. Can't really help that. It only introduces how the legend functions anyway, and as you'll see in the following chapters, it gets a tad more interesting. " Prismatic-Memories: "Err, for the future reference, it's best to take in criticism and see what you can do to help yourself improve. Rather than excuse yourself from it to not deal with it at all. Perhaps you're more suited for the art of drawing?
Hmm, just because it introduces the basics, doesn't really make it okay for it to be somewhat bland. Prologues are meant to help potential readers understand if this is worth their personal drinking time. To lay out the ingredients of what's the meal going to be, giving them a phantom taste, without serving the meal from the get-go. If you're using the prologue to lay out the laws, in order to get all that beginners stuff out of the way for the main story. I think what you're looking for is a plot-summary section."
Glyphayel: "I am taking both your feedback and every feedback that have been given to me so far without any problem. ...Oh wait, upon re-reading my previous answer, I think I got the problem. "I can assure you that nothing about this Prologue is rushed nor desperate" <--- This is what gave you the impression that I wasn't taking your feedback. Darn, sorry, that's not I meant. I think I was affected when you used the words "rushed" and "desperate". Mostly because I wasn't rushed nor desperate when I wrote this. But I'll be more careful.
That aside, you're not the first one to tell me that things are wrong with this prologue, which is why I plan to improve it in due time. "More suited for the art of drawing?" Don't worry, I know what I want. I have a few experiences with drawing, and it's not the form of expression that pleases me. I'll follow the path I've chosen for myself and keep workin' on it. No, it doesn't make it okay, you're right. I was just explaining what I had in mind for this first piece of writing, that's all. I didn't plan for it to be an excuse, just my view of it. ....! Oh, wow. Ok. This is serious. Of all the critics I got so far, yours is by far the harshest, which is a good thing. I mean, that's how you drive people who read you to doubt themselves and try and get better, right? "Harsh but true" type of critics, it seems. Anyway, So... If I get what you're saying, what I should do would be make this prologue less bland? More... Vivid? One of the critics I got was that there wasn't enough details and descriptions for it, which was one of the reason why it was hard to get into it."
Prismatic-Memories: "Hm, I wasn't really saying you were rushing or desperate. Just the way the beginning seems to have been carefully detailed and used a lot of sophisticated words, doesn't mix with the latter parts that used basic repetitive wordings. So it gave off the vibe that it was rushed through in order to get to the main parts that holds more interests.
I wouldn't really say it's 'wrong' just not as great as it can be. Aaahhh, yeaahh people's told me that I can be somewhat brutally blunt and harsh with my words even if I was giddily chatting. Well, it's true, that's one method. But that can also depress the writer and trigger them to lose their passion. Ah, that critic is right. At some point in the prologue, the words began to look more like a script for actors. Only we couldn't see the play off reactions of actors, or feel any emotion behind the words. The characters used in this prologue, didn't have any... characteristics. Like we were reading the text of that one NPC who everyone skips, since it's all information we could read in back of the box or something.
If you were aiming for having characters that aren't mains for the prologue, it's always best to use a memory for that type. If it's a memory, descriptions aren't really sought out. Err, if any of this makes sense whatsoever"
G: "Well that's the problem, that's the feeling I got from your words. So yeah, my mistake. That's why I must be more careful. ...Oh. I see. I need to re-read the piece and fix that, then.
Not to be rude, but darn it, you are. You are harsh. I don't think that'll shake me enough to lose my will, though 'cause I'm kinda used to the "no mercy" kind of teaching, and I know what's good in that method. I should be fine if I just focus on that. Right. So the main problem isn't the lack of description, but rather the lack of emotion displayed by the characters. Hmm. That one's a first. *takes notes*
A memory, huh... ...Aaaaaaaaah! I got it. And Yes, what you say does make sense to me. Now I can fix two problems. I'm going to remove that prologue (another suggestion I had), and yes, using it as a memory did cross my mind anyway, mostly because the first and second chapter have problems that I can fix if I use the prologue as a memory. It could also add more mystery to the whole thing, which is somethin' I was aiming for. Yeah, I have a plan. There you go, thanks a ton! Sorry, for earlier, I can totally take critics, I just need to be more careful with what my words imply. Aaaaaaaand I'm also too polite."
And that's the situation so far. So, yeah, not really bashing, but I found her first two comments quite... insulting. Especially the "Perhaps you're more suited for the art of drawing?" part. That... That one left me thinking. She was basically asking me if I wasn't sure I shouldn't change the one form of expression I'm actually good at for another one. That was painful.

Ugh... I always mess that up. Thanks for the reminder, Tort!

@Buggiedude2340 Anytime And for the record, @Charizard821, that critic she sent me was in Deviantart, but the story is here on YWS. It's the Entwined Tale of the Wishcraftress. Which I am determined to improve now. EDIT: PM sent! Back to homework...

You know that Abomasnow that will knock Aegeas out? Well, what if he had a Mega stone with him? Then it would be similar to fighting not one, not two, but three boss fights consecutively!

Winter is inevitable. Spring will return eventually, and AstralHunter with it.
You have no idea how the little gears in my evil head are working right now. XD. That is a brilliant idea! I like the suggestion, and it would do wonders advancing the plot of the story and making events all the more complicated. Three consecutive boss fights, eh? Wow, now that sounds like an endurance contest. O_O. Thanks for the suggestion!
Oh, and I have an idea for a novel, so I'm not going to be all that active this afternoon. I'm going to try to create a prologue or maybe a character list. Right now it sounds too much like The War of the Roses, so I'm going to make the idea more unique and creative. It will be heck. XD I might post it on the YWS, supposing that my new writing style works smoothly. We'll just have to see, I suppose.

Have I mentioned that we'll eventually have to get the Toxic Plate back?
