PMD: Seventeen Plates DT

Just letting everyone know, the Plates like the Grass plate have a different name than the regular Meadow Plate because they're more powerful. So the Arcean equivalent of the Zap Plate would be the Volt Plate, and so on.

Now the question remains, who's going after the Dread (or as it will be known, the Death) Plate and Bloodmoon? Whoever does will not only face Bloodmoon, but...

Hey! @AstralHunter. This may be a bit late but can I reserve the stone plate? I got something planned involving Frost. Oh and also, Im going for Bloodmoon. I still wanna fight the badass assassin >:3

The picture that goes with that meeting music makes me really happy... like, a bassoon, French horn, and baritone? Yes.

Anyways, since right now it's all a load of confusion, why don't I post an initial draft for teams and destinations, and we can edit it over our choice of beverages? (I'd say tea, but I get the feeling not all of us enjoy that.)

Riley is running off on an insane rescue mission during the meeting; he is out. Bloodmoon and Frost have been out for a while, leaving us with seven humons available for the dungeons.

It seems Tortwag has his heart set on the Insect plate, so Team 1 will consist of Twinkiel & co. plus one other humon.

Team 2 shall be Zulu's, and they will find the Sky plate. This could have either one or two other humons.

Team 3 shall be Aegeas's, and they will get the Icicle plate. This could also have either one or two other humons.

The available travelling partners are Jewels, Ren, Flurry, and possibly Gabriel. I have not heard from Hunter on whether Gabriel is chasing after Riley or not.

So... let's get bickering! (But remember to compromise as well.)

Hmm... I don't think we can get away with only two groups, not if a legendary must tag along for each one. @AstralHunter, is your "epic plot twist" concerning the Iron or Fist plates available for action?

@Robusto I'm glad you like that theme, because it IS a great one. does that mean it's gonna be added on the SB's OST?

Well if Zulu doesn't mind, he can join the Mew Duo' group and tag with Twinkiel & his squad of NPC. I suppose he'd want to leave Cresselia's protection to prove himself that he can survive without it or something, but that's your choice.
@Buggiedude2340 yeah, we do need other groups. Hmm... Not sure what to do here, I'm out of ideas. Oh well, I have the entire day to think about it, and you guys will probably answer before I do.
And I'm glad you like the image for Log Horizon's OST It's especially beautiful when you know the characters, but yeah. Classical instruments for the win, here.

@Tortwag, I see you took my advice about post length to heart! However, the Rhyperior is just a guard lost in the maze. Jewels & Co. haven't even reached the inner chamber yet! Trust me, if you're looking forward to the battle now, wait until I actually get there.

As for the Insect Plate, PM @Robusto if you want the details of the MD. (Speaking of which, will you please PM me the Fist Plate's MD's description, Robusto?)

And what...? Prescribed themes? But I already chose a battle theme for the Earth Plate's Guardian... Why the sudden change? There weren't any prescribed themes before, just an unspoken agreement of "first come, first serve" - and that only counts once you write about said event/place/character.

Of course I plan on sharing, @Buggiedude2340! The Fist Plate is Gabriel's, no negotiation, but if @Charizard821 wants Riley to have the Iron Plate, by all means, he can have it! Besides, the only other Pokémon that would be its new Guardian are Dialga and Cobalion, and that would be most problematic. Reserving a Plate does not give one exclusive rights to it, one simply enjoys such perks as describing the battle first - since naturally, everyone can describe the battle from their MC's POV, we mostly don't because we don't want a full repetition - and have a greater say in what happens before and after the search for that particular Plate.

Oh, back to you, Tort. In my next post, Jewels will enquire about that, to which Landorus will respond the Resistance had secretly found the reveal glass. I didn't think I had to mention it because I didn't think it would be a problem.

Furthermore, I don't have plans for the Zap Plate; BBR (← that's Big Boss Rob, as I'm gonna call him from now on) does. I simply know all of this because I am an inquiring mind and, as I've told Buggie, adept at ferreting out such pieces of information. Also, acting as a manager of sorts tends to involve you in the plot more. What I can say is that the NO Legendaries at its location are ones you eagerly wish to meet.

@TheSilverFox, since Gabriel and Flurry are splitting up and Flurry isn't heading back to Frostpoint, I guess Gabriel has to. Mind if he tags along? Each Plate needs an expedition of at least four anyway. And I'm happy you are more clued-in about the general plot. As for the pre-meeting post, that's what I had meant by speaking to me first, and I thank you for respecting that. If you sent me a rough outline of what you are planning, I could more accurately answer, otherwise I'm blind, metaphorically speaking.

And just so everyone knows, I already have themes for both the Shrine of Safety and the Resistance Meeting. Besides, @Tortwag, a theme like that should be a war theme, like when we're assaulting Mt. Providence. It would work perfectly! Please, don't waste it on a meeting! :'(

BBR, I had completely forgotten somebody would have to get the Dread Plate back. (Since there is no available list for the Arcean Plates' names in this SB's context, I shall continue to use the regular names until the list is posted in the DT.) And while we're on the topic of Plates, I should say that the last... *checks* three Plates will require a collective effort from all the humons. So, @15253, you don't have to worry about missing out on the action, unless some of the humons have to be at Frostpoint during the sparring there, but in that case, you'll definitely help with storming the mountain.

I can also add that acquiring the Iron Plate will require all the guts you can gather. And I forgot to mention this, but while the Pixie Plate will be gained during the exchange for Xerneas, the Toxic Plate will be lost. We'll still have to get that one back, as well as the Mind Plate, if Frost doesn't defect.

Buggie, I think Flurry and Jewels should go after Riley, along with their respective Guardians. Since Gabriel seems to be out of his stupor, perhaps Flurry can ask him to come along, then he says, "No, there are more important things which need to be done," and their fight can be about that? Gabriel can then aid Aegeas in securing the Icicle Plate, get attacked by Ho-Oh - I hope nobody minds, since I have to bring him in at some time - and then [verb]. Thence, he will go for the Fist Plate, [verb] [noun] again, [verb] said [noun], and then [verb] in a magnificent plot twist! This plot twist will become even more shocking later on. BBR, I suppose I have to discuss this with you first. In the meantime, Flurry and Riley can have saved Articuno or whatever and go after the Spooky Plate. (Oh, and I love tea! I don't touch coffee or alcohol, unless I'm disinfecting my hands with the latter.)

@Verser, you want Frost to be wrecked by Jewels? I can arrange that... Hopefully, she'll have evolved by then.
