I once had a cat named Sammi

I have a cat named Sammi.
Some people say she is as gentle as Bambi.
I for one disagree,
I think she has it out for me.
I woke with a fright in the middle of the night,
And saw little Sammi tearing the stuffing out of my sister’s Lamby.
I made a mistake and looked under the table,
She gave me a smile like in a scary fable.
I have finally learned to live with Sammi,
But I wonder, when will she get me?

too true, your rhymes were off, but not that much, and the poem was odd... good though, so keep it.

“Such nonsense!" declared Dr Greysteel. "Whoever heard of cats doing anything useful!" "Except for staring at one in a supercilious manner," said Strange. "That has a sort of moral usefulness, I suppose, in making one feel uncomfortable and encouraging sober reflection upon one's imperfections.”
