It was very cute and sweet and very descriptive of the show. Basically, you summed of SpongeBob in a poem. Heehee I love that show, I won bonus points in Biology by singing the theme song. It is a wonderful show and a wonderful poem. Not much to criticize, just saying that I enjoyed it. It made me smile at the very end. Good job!

Ahahahahahaha, I read this and seriously laughed out loud. A poem about SpongeBob... I thought I'd seen it all when there was a poem about a rock but SpongeBob, that tops it all :)

Your writing is very good and I really like how you managed to capture the essence of SpongeBob in this cute, entertaining little poem. Goofy Goober, yes he is!

This is really good. I used to write a lot of acrostics, but I was never able to master it like you have with this little piece. Great work. :)

Thank you all so much for your reviews!

thestorygirl, I can't add so much detail, for it is an acrostic, and there is a limit to what you can put before it becomes overkill. I was about to put "red" for his necktie, but it did not flow well when I did, so I took it out.

Hey Shiney,
I really liked this. It was a very clever poem, and some little words and phrases that you use really made it great. "Necktie" and "pores and craters are splashes" are probably your two best touches. I really have no constructive criticizm for you, however. Just keep up the good work!

I like this a lot. It's cute. I find it awesome that you found inspiration in Spongebob. That is deep :) I like these two lines a lot. The opening and the closing.

Sweet-natured little yellow sponge,

Hi!

I think this was very creative and I loved it! The acrostic feature of it was extremely well-done; it did not seem forced at all. Well, I guess you said you were adding it to your "collection" so it probably wouldn't be horrible.

Anyways, I think the flow could be a little better.

Sweet-natured little yellow sponge, your
Pores and craters are splashes
On that square canvas, to accompany that

The first two lines didn't match up when I read it out loud.

Otherwise, great job on grammar, spelling, etc. and keep writing for your collection!

~Lili

I just want to be the side character in a book that basically steals the whole series.
