Far Away

In Poetry

Far away, far away,
Our feelings lie far away,
If we could only return to when,
We two were able,
To laugh with innocence,
Back to that day,

My heart was broken into pieces,
It was just like a work of glass,
I am collecting all the shards,
Of my memories

You only realize what’s most important to you,
After you lose it in the chaos of life,

Please, please, stop the time from rushing past,
And could you carve your image,
Into my heart,
So that I can be stronger,

If it is allowed, Maybe I,
Maybe I could sacrifice,
Everything,
To see your smiling face,
Just one more time,

this is really sad.. but having said that, a great poem. i like the rhyming of away and day, although it appears to have been non intentional because it's the only rhyme :P but maybe next time you should look into making a poem with one stanza being four or eight lines and line 2 and 4 rhyming. just a suggestion :) your awesome and writing you know :)
