I command, it obeys
I stop, it stays
I play my thoughts
down on to the page,
the mightiest of weapons,
the longest of age.
.
The pen my friend,
and paper so fine,
to record the mind,
and create something else,
something so thin,
to provoke, to disturb, to change,
to make thick books
to invoke, to usurp, to cover,
.
To map yourself,
with the thoughts of another.

LOVED IT! I love to write and this is so so so so true! Not only do you like writing (Just a guess). But you do poetry! So cool! Do you have any other poetry one here? Or even a story? Anyway. . . Good job! Keep on writing!

Great Poem. I really liked your use of words.
Hey there. I want to start off by commending you on your swift rhythm you used here. Everything flowed together and it was a fairly enjoyable read. However, there were a few errors, although minor, that interfered with this poem's potential. For starters, you lack commas. Commas are used to verify a pause in dialogue or events. For example, you say, "I command it obeys". There should be a comma here after command. Also there should be a comma throughout the stanzas until you reach an ending. Otherwise it just looks incomplete. Follow the same principle with the rest of your poem. So my recommendation is that you take other people's advice and add commas. Then I believe you'll be good to go.

I have added this, let me know please if I have overused the comma
Lemme start reviewing this wonderful piece you have written. First of all I think you need to put a full stop where necessary just to show that particular line has ended and you need to add a comma to separate one line from another. That looks more sensible then. For Example-
"I command it obeys
I stop it stays,
I play my thoughts.
Down on to the page,
the mightiest of weapons,
the longest of age."
And coming to the next stanza--
"The pen my friend,
and paper so fine.
To record the mind,
and create something else.
something so thin,
to provoke, to disturb, to change,
to make thick books
to invoke, to usurp, to cover."
And in this stanza the first line "The pen my friend" You are saying The pen so you must be referring to a particular pen but you have not mentioned that whether it is your pen or just a normal pen. So, I think the line goes much better if you write "Pen, my friend" or something else.
On the whole it is a funny poem. A few errors here and there. If you correct them then it be great.

This is a really fun poem! Your flow and rhythm are all good and the words are a clever illustration of writing. I enjoy the way you end it, too, "To map yourself/with the thoughts of another." I do have one suggestion, however; try considering adding some end punctuation. I don't think your poem needs a lot--that would just interrupt the flow--but there are one or two spots where a comma or even a period might strengthen or emphasize what you're trying to say. Anyway, just something to consider. Great poem!
