Nothing says we have to sleep. So why do we? Why does the simple thought of sleep eat us away? Sleep is a dangerous thing that holds untold stories and brings back dreadful memories. It's what brings light to our fears and hides our happiness, placing it deep within the shadows of Hell itself. Too much sleep will make you tired and mad, but yet so will not enough. But when, if ever, can you find that perfect amount of sleep where you wake up rested? I'd rather sleep to much than not sleep at all, but rather not sleep at all than try to find that perfect time frame.

Hi, calondra1024. This is pinkie, your reviewer. I am here to give you a review.
What I have to say for this story is very thoughtful. You are telling true what is going on in our dreams. When we are sleeping, we always told us untold stories and bring back dreadful memories. We always have nightmares of our fears or dreams of happiness. You have a good point of us sleeping too much or not sleeping at all.
Keep on writing.

Wowza! That's some seriously sincere thinking you've been doing! The amount of thought put into the post is clearly apparent, however I must agree with Millanimo in that you should "elaborate more." Psychological food-for-thought pieces such as this are really neat and the description of the thin line between too much and too little sleep is very well thought out. However, there is room for more exploration of the concept, but this certainly is a superior catalyst for a discussion about the importance of sleep. Well done and continue to challenge life's mysteries!
Thanks so much!
I've just started writing recently when I had to write a research paper on psychology over poverty. Everybody said my writing was strong, convincing, but yet depressing. I just kinda started writing what I thought and everybody loved it so I decided I would try to go somewhere with it! Your feedback is very helpful!
Hi!
First off, this is a very thoughtful work. It explores what late night thoughts do to us, and the mystery of sleep.
I do feel a bit put off by the first line, though. Our bodies do tell us we have to sleep, and we need it for energy. I know you're doing a much more internal/mental angle for this, so I feel as though you might want to introduce the topic in another way.
Also, I think you mean "too much" instead of "to much".
I feel as though you should elaborate more on the mental effects of late night thoughts than the physical annoyance of sleep. The two ideas are a bit forced together, when both could be separately spoken about.
Just my two cents.
Anyways, great job! As always, keep writing!
Thanks so much for your comment!!
When I write I just put what im thinking so sometimes it's not very well thought out. I was also almost asleep when I wrote this, which is one of the reasons for talking about the physical part of it. I always had nightmares as a little girl, that's why I just kinda...wrote about it a little.
