Our story
I am a writer.
Nothing more, Nothing less.
I live a life of fantasy if I chose to.
I am a page in a history book, a lover in a steamy affair, or the funniest person on earth.
In the future I can see anything I dream.
The only real story we all live is an adventure of our own. One that no words can describe, no binding could keep the chapters of our lives intact, no pencil or computer could write our story.
An ink pen and a blank page sit before me. I am told to write about my life. I stare at the page for a while. Then my thoughts collect and the ink from the pen flows onto the page as I tell my story. It is neither true nor fiction, but a mere glimpse of the world from my eyes.
We all have a story. We all have a mind of our own. And most of all we all have a heart.
We are a walking book.
We tend to shield ourselves like a cover, try to hold it all together like a binding. We all have thoughts, feelings, and dreams like a story.
What makes us the most like books is that we have the ability to capture hearts when we try.
To you something may seem lie the end of the world, but if someone were to read it, they may be the one to think that you have it all.
And old saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” sounds like this.
If there is one thing I miss it is the ability to see things through a child’s eyes. The ability to see as if I was a young innocent child. To see the world as if it were nothing but a street corner or a grain of sand on the beach. Having everything I ever wanted when in truth I had nothing at all… I miss those days.
In a story you can redo your whole life. Make it a dream come true. It can be an adventure you are too scared to go on. A mystery that others can help you solve. Let it be a night to remember and a love to last you a lifetime.
Adventure; the captivating thrill of something you are too scared to do.
Romance; the lost love or the one to be found.
Mystery; all your unanswered questions.
Fantasy; the dream come true.
Books; what are like us in some ways and can be us in others. Try not to see a book as a cover, bind, and pages. See you and your story.

Very interesting. I agree with Jasmine! Its a unique mix of poetry and a story - creative and well done.
Hey!

I really liked this. There isn't much to say about grammar because I'm to lazy to check that out :p I'll let one of those grammatical obsessie's do that. Anyway, I like how this can't be classified as anything. It's not really poetry, even though it could be. It's not really a story, as it's explain what one is. When I first saw this thought it would be a cliche little I love you romance blah fest type of thing, but it was not at all what I expected. Good Job! I'd like to see more of your work
