"Topics to write a poem on"
I rummage my brain;
been pondering for days and days,
still, everything seems vain.
Should I write about the perfect first kiss
that I am yet to experience?
Her hands on my waist,
running through my hair.
Wait, this is turning intense.
Dante's Inferno & Frost's woods
I envy them.
I am trying to get some recognition,
but none I get.
Writer's Block is a fucker.
Reader, please help,
If you ever stumble across this;
I'm a poetess in distress.

Hi alexblackwell ! I wanna review your beautifully written poem.
I understand how frustrating a writer's block can be, it just makes you want to give up.
This poem is something similar to an article that I just posted today. So, I can obviously, totally, relate to it.
At the end you have written "A poetess is distress." I think you mean "A poetess in distress."
It shows that the poet is a female. But then, you have written "Her hands on my waist". So, I think you should probably correct that. Other than that, I think the poem is pretty nice.
So, keep on writing and good luck for your future.
Hey!
I see how you assume my lover will be a guy. I want to add LGBT relationships into art just the way 'normal, heterosexual relationships are.'
Will change the distress part.
Oh okay. I was thinking of myself while reading this. So, I didn't think of that. Haha. Good work.
The same thing happens to me, I see a movie or a tv series or an inspiring painting or sometimes some idea but pop up but halfway across the story I give up, my brain develops a block or it decides it doesn't like the thing and think of something new, yeah well I'm a quitter but sometimes when I finish a story I keep on changing the plot until I kick it into a corners and set the whole house on fire[not literally]. I thought it only happens to me but u know I guess it happens to everyone. Well the thing it that u need to have patience, that's a lesson I taught myself and u need to believe in ur story or poem or whatever it is. BELIEVE. I sound weird, I know.
