I don’t even remember how it started.
All I remember is waking up in that cursed dream, and running for my life. But here I am now, as terrified as ever, in the same dream as always-one that will never end until everyone else is killed. I just wanted to keep alive. I didn’t want to hurt anybody, and maybe that’s just weak, but I couldn’t. I was terrified of fighting back, so what was I supposed to do?
But then I met her.
I should’ve never done anything. I should’ve kept doing my own thing, I should’ve never made any friends, I should’ve stuck to my old ways. Now look where I am, I’ve betrayed everyone I ever met, I’ve probably taken countless lives, and now...
It could be all for nothing.
But if I don’t try... If I don’t try, I could be stuck here forever. I’m going to try. I’m going to save everyone trapped in these neverending nightmares. It’s stupid, I know, but it’s true. I have to get out of here, I have to free everyone.
I have to put an end to Vex.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),
Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!
First Impression: Well...this was one of the more intriguing prologues I've read, certainly seems to be one that's hiding a lot of mysteries just underneath the surface here, definitely a very cool premise here.
Anyway let's get right to it,
Okay...wow this off to quite a start there, definitely one of the more exciting starts I've seen to a prologue, talks of dreams and everyone in the world potentially dying is certainly the type of thing to be getting your attention and just the general tone that this protagonist here appears to be speaking in certainly appears to reference that something bad has already happened and they are perhaps trying to make excuses for it, either to themselves or to us, and well I suppose its more of trying to understand if they were wrong or not rather than excuses, but at any rate, it makes for a very intriguing tone to start a story off on here.
Oh wow, well, first of all, meeting one person seems to be something that this one regrets quite a bit there and well that's definitely adding to the suspicion here but then once you also tag along the fact that a lot of betrayal and the loss of countless lives are involved, well you just know that this person has done quite a lot of potential horrible things here somehow...well the plot is thickening at any rate.
Well, that certainly ends on a lovely note there, this makes for a really cool ending there and just the description of neverending nightmares there sounds like a really cool premise here. This is certainly shaping up to be quite a story here, and the fact that it appears that its someone that has done a lot of wrong here trying to fix the mistakes they make also suggests it could be a pretty interesting character arc there too.
Aaaaand that's it for this one.
Overall: Overall, we have ourselves a pretty awesome prologue here, it certainly manages to tick off most of the boxes that you expect from one of these and it appears that it will make for a pretty cool story here too.
As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.

Nice prologue its definitely a hooker. This site doesn't give us enough characters to actually write a summary so this will really help you out. I plan to continue reading.
Wow! I was hooked on this story/prologue right from the start! You did a great job of capturing the reader's attention and keeping it all the way through! This is really great! I have no complaints except for a few conventional errors, which are easily fixable. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to read more of this story!

This prologue is gripping. Where people usually set the stage with a long prologue that can very well end up boring the readers, (Totally not me, cough.) You've managed to set the stage in a short burst that leaves the reader wanting more. Now... TO head to those juicy looking chapters to the side.

In other words, I like the chapters short, but to add a bit of negatvity to this because the world isn't all happiness, I would like to know what your MC looks like, or even their gender. Set that bit of the stage and you get yourself an even better prologue.
Okay, thanks for leaving a review and the details I can improve on! I hope you continue to read and help point out what's wrong!
Hey PresidentTurtles! Clickdun here :3 Let's talk about your story.
It's not that I didn't like the prologue, it's just that it felt like something you'd find in the epigraphs of a book. Not a prologue. Now, on the subject on if the prologue did what you wanted it to? Yes, it did. It did it extremely well in fact, I'm looking forward to the chapters ahead and am somewhat anxious to finish this review, but the review is what I'm here for, and that is what I shall do.
Let's get the nitpicks out of the way:
Split the never, and ending like this: Never-ending.
What? There was only one? Witchcraft! Sorcery! You shall burn at the stake for this! Or just have a wacky reviewer say stuff that he didn't need to say, one or the other.
Now, I said that this prologue feels like an epigraph, what I'm talking about is the little bit that starts before the prologue, kind of an introductory hook. "Epigraph" is intended to be before a chapter, to introduce the style and the tone of the chapter without having to put the reader inside of the chapter beforehand.
That's why I'm suggesting you format it that way, not as a prologue. But that, of course, is a suggestion, not a necessary part to writing your book. It is after all, your book, not mine.
This was a good Prologue, the writing was solid and it was a nice hook to draw readers in.
Write on!

Thank you so much! I will take that epigraph thing into consideration!
Brilliant. The structure of this is so easy on the eyes it made it so simple, and enjoyable to read.

Some people are against prologues and just skip them. I'd say they would be making a foolish decision if they done that here. This is a damn good prologue, and many of the others I've read, even by published authors, have failed to be this gripping.
There are not many issues, here to be honest. I normally have an issue with chapters or prologues being short, because they're normally too short. But this gave enough information and detail that it felt appropriate for it to be of this length. It just sets itself up for the main story so well.
I see there is a first chapter, so I will head over there now. Great stuff!
Thanks! I will be posting more soon!
Coolios! This is an awesome prologue! In fact, you've even gotten my heart pumping a little bit because of how the main character narrated everything. I can't complain about anything either. I think the writing was great in the sense that you said enough to spark the reader's interest and curiosity and keep them wanting more in the end with that cliffhanger. It's such an exciting read! Kudos to you! I will highly anticipate the following installments of this story as I would love to discover what the main character has done as well as what exactly this 'Vex' is. Nicely done my friend! -IceWinifredd
Thank you!!!
Hello! Flash here for a review.
It's a short prologue, so I won't have much to say here. But let's get on with it.
The first line is awesome! It's a hook that kept me wanting to read more. Actually, the entire prologue is a hook! It gives us little information, and all we know is that there is something called a Vex which causes nightmares (or nightmares take place inside the Vex?)
It's an awesome prologue that doesn't give too many details, which makes readers come back starving for more. I'm sorry this isn't much of a review, but I honestly didn't see any mistakes and this is way too cool to not have any reviews.
Keep writing and I hope to see more!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
By the way, it can sort of be considered a place that makes nightmares, it's kind of confusing to explain, but if you keep reading, you'll see.
I definitely will! You've definitely earned yourself a new fan!
Thanks for all the support, you guys!!!
