Hey, it's Sumac here writing a review for you!
I really enjoyed watching this piece! But as a writer and person that loves music, I would say: Ouch! You totally expressed in your own way of writing. The words that you use is very simple and plain like a person which is very realistic and like the people that are numb and give up their dreams because of the society. It is true that becoming an artist is very poor nowadays. You can't really earn much money as scientists do, or, lawyers. I totally agree with your opinion and I would wish to see more future works of yours! Good job!
Thanks so much Sumac! I'm glad you liked it
You're welcome!
Oh-h-h. I like this a lot. <3
Ahh, thank you! <333
Aha! My turn for a review now! It's about time I've had the chance to return the favor. Alright, well let's get into this!
A fantastic opening line! This grabbed my attention instantly and made me want to read more.
A great line, but just a small remark. I'd personally add "or" before "else" in this, but I think it works fine either way. It's just something I'd like to make note of.
In this instance, I'd add "with" between "do" and "doctors". Again, it works good with the way you have it, but it's another thing I wanted to write down.
As a writer, all I have to say is this: ouch.
And, that honestly leads me to the end of my short review. I love this poem, it's very neat and short and even makes you think! I like how you mention souls having tattoos, I've never heard of it like that before. I enjoyed every bit of this poem, from the start to the end.
Haha yep, that's exactly what I wanted right there - ouch.
Thanks so much for the review! I don't dabble much in poetry so I'm happy you liked this.
I'm not much of a poet myself! You certainly write way better than I do!
Naaaw. I guess because this is prose poetry it was a bit easier for me. You should try it!
I definitely should give it a shot! I just need to get this SAT testing out of the way first, haha!
Ugh, me too xD
Hello! Iamawriter here for a review!
First of all, I love the concept of this piece. The idea that society asks us to put away our childhood and dreams.
Your imagery is good but I don't understand the bits about soles. The only other thing that I would change is not having the text in bold. To me it's kind of overpowering.
Overall I love the piece. Keep up the good work and thanks for the follow.
(Feel free to review my latest piece The Crucifixion and Resurrection)
Thank you! The sole bit was there because I wanted to choose a place on the body the speaker couldn't see on the subject. The fact that it could be confused with "soul" was just a punny touch. d: The text isn't actually in bold, but it might look that way because it's a screenshot of a document.
Oh I see!
i love this sooooooooooooooooooooo much!
Awww, thank you! <3
