Eleven Reasons Why People In YWS Are Crazy About Ten Reasons Of Everything

by Urba

Note to YWS: So I'm here again in the publishing room to face RUDE reviews.

1. The common thinking: Oh my God this method seems new!!!!

2. And: Only ten reasons.

3. Easy to write. Not much of our neurons really bother.

4. Takes a very short time.

5. The love for publishing something small.

6. The love for publishing anything.

7. Takes really short to read for the YWS readers.

8. Easy to review.

9. A lot of likes(Not suitable for this work)

10. Reaching the literary spotlight.(Not suitable for this work)

11. Love for YWS.(People do not know about this but my research says it is one of the reasons)

Note for YWS 2: Thank God!!!There is no dislike system in YWS...So this work will at least survive...

I'm here to get credit for a review, and promise to just abuse the system to get points. :)
Here's my shot at giving you a wack review for the sake of getting points for me to publish what I want.
This list is so self-aware. You are listing a bunch of truths in a sort of vague way. I think it's because you are afraid of what people might think, maybe. Basically what I understood is that too many times or always it seems what's in the literary spotlight is stuff like this. Stuff that doesn't really require much thought, and are super easy to read and review. I've been surprised by some of the things that get like 5 likes. I've been surprised by the number of great works that get zero or not even a review.
Or you see these cheap titles like When I died. Cancer. Waiting to be Adopted. The car crash.
The Cheap Title That Will Get You to Click on Me. Then you see 50 likes were given to that work.

Have I written enough words for this to be considered a review. Or do I need to keep typing random words, so that I have enough? ;) Happy Halloween!

On a serious note I really thought this was funny, because of my dislike for the other 10 or 11 whatever reasons for blah blah blah.

I got only 95 points.

Hey, I'm fairly new to writing reviews, and I may have no grounds of posting about this... But I think before I can have an opinion, I need to be educated. Again, if you do not want to change this, or if it wasn't work that was meant to be critiqued, then just ignore it.
I don't really know what "Ten reasons of everything" is, but from what I understand, it has negative connotation. The whole post seems a little vague. Are you upset about rude reviews? Are you not liking a certain style of writing that is prominent on YWS? I'm not really getting the who, what, why, when, how.

Heya newcomer...you have confusion only cause you are NEW. No this work is not written with negative connotation. It is just a little bit of humor. People in YWS are posting works like ten reasons of this, ten reasons of that so...actually I really like this idea...stay here for a bit and you'll see ow amazing this site is...

Hello there Urba, steampowered here with a review! I promise it’s not going to be a rude one, or if it is, it’s genuinely not a deliberately rude one.

I’ll start off with something nice and positive. This has potential. It could do with a little bit of sprucing up, but it definitely has potential. I’m aware this was probably written for a bit of fun and as such I’m a little uncomfortable in reviewing it too harshly, but I think the style of writing and the way in which you structure your sentences might need to be changed. As I believe has already been said, it is a little difficult to follow right now.

These are just nitpicks. Feel free to discard them!

1. The common thinking: Oh my God this method seems new!!!!

So, this doesn’t make a huge amount of sense. I get a kind of idea of what you’re trying to say, but I think the wording needs to be altered. Maybe something like this would be easier to understand:

1. The usual thoughts from the YWSers: Oh my God, these lists seem so new and exciting!

You don’t need more than one exclamation mark, even if they are excited. :P

3. Easy to write. Not much of our nurons really bother.

This, too, is a little bit confusing. I think you mean “neurons”? Also, I think you need to link the neuron thing to the “easy to write” bit more clearly. It’s not so obvious to the reader that you’re making this connection. Let me show you a suggestion:

3. Easy to write. You don’t have to think too hard about it.

Moving on:

4. Takes a little bit of time.

I don’t think you quite mean this. I think you mean to imply that it takes hardly any time at all, in fact, so little time anyone can just sit down and write one in a few minutes! But as it stands, it sounds like you’re emphasising that it takes a bit of time and effort. So maybe we could re-word that to:

4. Takes less than 5 minutes to come up with something.

Or re-word that to whatever you want. :D

Note for YWS 2: Thank God!!!There is no unlike system in YWS...So this work will at least live...

So, I think I know what you mean here, but let’s try and clarify this a little.

First of all, we don’t really need all those exclamation marks. You can get rid of two of them without causing any problems.

By the “unlike” system, I think you mean a system where you can “dislike” a review. However, since unlike is actually a word which means something quite different, it’ll be confusing for your average reader.

So maybe “unlike” could be changed to “dislike”.

Also, this is a nitpick but perhaps “YWS has no “dislike” system” would be better than “There is no unlike system in YWS”.

And you don’t really need those … ellipses. Ellipses are great, but you don’t want to overuse them. Change them to full stops (also known as periods)

So then it reads something like this:

Note for YWS 2: Thank God! YWS has no dislike system. So this work will at least live.

And I personally think “survive” is a much stronger verb than “live”.

Feel free to chat with me if you’re unsure about anything, and keep writing!

Hey Steamyy...first of all I'm gonna say that this review is really great and don't hover with the word rude I didn't really wrote that seriously. And I wrote this in only 3 or 4 minuets so yeah spelling mistakes.
I agree with your 4th point. Then yes dislike is better than unlike and survive is better than live...thanks for the review.
*Goes to change the spelling of Neurons*
*Goes to fix the 4th problem*
*Goes to change unlike to dislike and live to survive*

If by "Rude" reviews you mean critiques and helpful feedback then yes you're back for some reviews. I'm not sorry at all if you find my review "Rude".

1. This list is confusing
2. None of these reasons make sense
3. Don't short change yourself
4. I'm so confused

What if they aren't helpful and just rude?
Oh, wait, that must be impossible.

People can be very rude in reviews. Like blatantly rude. I give pointed reviews on this site because I want to help people. But some people have this holier than thou attitude on this site, and will really chew out a piece of work they didn't like. Writers are the most sensitive people that exist.

Will, you know what I'm talking about >.>

:P Okay, nice job!

P.S. Not all reviews are rude, mate. Many can definitely help you in learning new stuff. So, chill out and write! After all, I believe we're here to help each other, aye? :D
