100 years ago back in the day
In a small town of Nortford that stayed far away
Rural life of the people that lived on
One day the Smiths would birth at their home
A bright little girl with big emerald eyes
Joyously laughing in naïveté’s delight
Christina oh Christina,
Can you tell me now
Christina oh Christina
Can you tell me how
When the girl grew up and had come of age
She wanted her boring life to come to a change
Looking for refuge she ran far from home
The big city had called to her, she’s no longer alone
A couple of friends she met who played with fire
The fruit of the devil that tempted their desires
Christina oh Christina,
Can you tell me now
Christina oh Christina
Can you tell me how
Not long soon she also fell into hell
A life of peer pressure in a world with no end
Calmly and steadily she tried to escape
But to no avail she failed with no key to this gate
Whenever the high of this ecstasy ends
Desperate for more everyone fights as foes not friends
Christina oh Christina,
Can you tell me now
Christina oh Christina
Can you tell me how
She turned to a God fixing her issues in faith
But too deep in treachery she traveled with no safe place
Being burnt slowly on the stick of magic and death
Witchcraft they all yelled at her who was with no breath
The devil’s temptation had ended her life
Tragedy was one way of how she met her ultimate demise
Christina oh Christina,
Can you tell me now
Christina oh Christina
Why you seek me now

Hello there, human! I'm reviewing using the YWS S'more Method today!
Shalt we commence with the ghoulish S’more?
Top Graham Cracker - This song is about a girl named Christina who was born innocent and naive, like most children, but who soon lost all of her joy once she sought for a life that was more fun than the one she had, more fun and incredibly harmful. But she didn’t care, did she?
Slightly Burnt Marshmallow - I have no recommendations to make as of right now, but if you would like to edit this, then you may.
Chocolate Bar - I love how you described Christina as someone who was so full of life and delight, then she ended up going down a dark path where there were people who were influenced by something terrible. It happens a lot to people and the way that it shows in the song with how her eyes shone brightly, then how she fell into Hell…My favorite part was the ending, of how the temptation had brought her down, how it broke her away…heartbreaking that it happened to Christina.
Closing Graham Cracker - Overall, a sorrowful song of when someone gets pushed into something horrid and loses her humanity in the process. If you ever think to make this a story, then I would read it. But if not, then this song is fine too. I’ve enjoyed this either way. It’s not fun when bad things happen, but perhaps, it can be made into poetry with the magic of writing and wishful thinking. With that, I wish you…
A lovely day/night! ^v^
This is touching and reminiscent of some of my own, earlier song lyrics. I'd be very interested to know if you have an instrumental for this, and if so if I could hear it. At the moment, it is hard to ascertain what musical genre you would go for, though this is more a general problem with lyrics-as-literature as opposed to having them accompany music. There is also a nice progression from moving out of the small town, to being burnt alive. You have to really build up to these moments, as opposed to a sudden mood whiplash, and you've achieved this.
I don't have a melody chosen for this piece (as I play the piano but can't compose lol) but I think the general vibes can be somewhat described with the song "Evelyn Evelyn" but with a bit of orchestral sounds (? idk how to exactly describe)
