Fall Homonym Poetry

There’s something about weather, whether it changes your mood or not.
The wind blows trees from here to there, their leaves left to rot.

I pull out the books I like to read, I’ve read them the autumn before.
I gather out my winter clothes, too. Two boots which I adore.

There’s something about the spring effect, affects me through and through.
Summer’s heat is gone, it blew. Blue skies have left me too.

The poem was okay. It wasn't anything noteworthy. but you pulled it off just fine with the help of the reviewer before me. and perfect timing of the poem! because we are in kind of a change of season. Fall is more developed now.

this line didn't make sense though: "The wind blows trees from here to there, their leaves being to rot"
You should change being to "left"

Hehehe! This is an adorably cute poem. :) Just one tiny error... it should be this:

"There’s something about the fall effect, affects me through and through."

So just switch those! Still, I love the rhyming scheme and everything.

One little nitpick... you're talking about the weather in each season, but you don't actually mention spring! I would love to see that. :)

It's like everyone tells a story about themselves inside their own head. Always. All the time. That story makes you what you are. We build ourselves out of that story.
— Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
