Just as a quick note!!! This was (unfortunately) written in 2005, which was four years before Lady Gaga released her song, "Telephone."

Perhaps GaGa was inspired by this poem? It also kind of has the vibes of her other hit "Paparazzi"

Was expecting this to be filled with all your @Snoink secrets! Lovely repetition of the word "tell" throughout and then a little rhyming in the closing couplet. Nicely written! Never stop writing!

I really like this! It's super unique. As many people have said, it reminds me of the song "Telephone" by Lady Gaga. I like how fun it is to read out loud. It makes me wonder what the inspiration was for this work. Also, Lady Gaga TOTALLY copied you. It would be very very funny if someone sent her this and asked if she copied you haha. Jokes aside, I really like how different and unique this was from other poems I have read. Good job!

Dear God. Either you're Lady Gaga, or Gaga copied you.

Oh gosh... XD

Actually, alcohol just gets calmer, so that wouldn't be good for crazy stupid poems. But I think that when this was written nearly six years ago, I was kind of making fun of this one guy on YWS (he's studying up to be a physicist now!) who was all, "YOU CAN'T WRITE A POEM!" And I was all, "YES I CAN." It was pretty epic!

And Lady Gaga totally stole this from me, lol. This came before her song!

No offence, but this is a little strange.
Don’t get me wrong - I like strange.

One thing that this piece has done is make someone think about how often we use the word “tell”. We use it in TELLephone, TELLevision, TELLemarketer, and various other communication devices; the word ‘tell’ obviously meaning something to do with words.

Anyway, I’m rambling on... umm...

Not really much I can actually say about this piece, so I’ll pretend to shake your hand and slowly step away. lol haha

And I agree - best chocolate-induced poem yet.
Although I will ask you this - what do you think you could come up with if you were alcohol-induced? haha lol :P
OR both alcohol- AND chocolate-induced? HAHAHA :)

But seriously... for health reasons, you’d probably better not try that.

Hi Snoink, I really love this poem. Although I don’t think it is your best work I still like it. It is very catchy, in fact in reminds me of the Lady GaGa song, Telephone! How ever that song was not released until 4-5 years later. I actually like it. It is a very short and cute poem!!
Maybe next time make it a bit longer although I can not criticize a master of YWS.
It is very funny, how you described the telephone. I really like how you have broken up the words...
"Tell-y tell-y tell-ephone!"- GREAT!
Thanx,

*raises eyebrow*

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.
