I watch as the crowd goes wild,
Jerry Lawler out of his chair,
they all scream
"Savage! Savage!"
as he jumps.
the crowd goes silent.
It looked like a twenty story drop.
A 237 pound man
about to crush a giant
with a massive
elbow drop.
I get out of my seat.
Savage delivers the blow
and quickly goes for the three count!
The crowd cheers,
I cheer,
everyone is excited.
except for Randy.
Eyes watery,
he looks at the crowd
trying to form a face that looks happy.
His demons exposed,
Savage takes the win and moves on.
too bad he's stuck.

Hello Randy,
I am here for the review.
The music hits and the wrestlers come out either to a big pop or boo. In the ring, they exchange a cold stare. And then the bell rings and they lock each other. The fans go wild with dueling chants. The wrestlers trade shots on each other. They go for headlocks, elbows and drop kicks. One may nail the other with his finish move and gets him on his shoulders. But, he kicks out on two counts. Now the crowd turns crazy and are at the edges of their seats. Their screams echo the stadium. The wrestler sweats all his energy to grab the win by pinfall or submission. And when the referee raises the winner's hand, the whole crowd is excited.
Do you know? this whole thing is awesome! As a wrestling fan, I love your poem. I admit I always want my favorite wrestler to win the matches and titles. But that won't happen all times. So, their winning moments are highly emotional. You have brought out very well that of the Macho man in your lines. But what I felt lacking is the importance of his win and on what great occasion he won?
The last line
I don't why you added it? Did he get stuck in the ring after the elbow drop?:P If it's so, then the previous line
doesn't support it. It's my opinion. However, it adds humor to your poem.
Thanks for the read. Keep writing:) All the best
I really love this poem, I like the way that you haven't explicitly mentioned that it is about wrestling (I'm guessing it is lol) My favourite line is "His demons exposed" you put the character in a really exposed and vulnerable position,I think this is relatable to any athlete who performs in front of spectators! well done with that! Keep up the good writing!
