Frank was a rooster with feathers so fine
That he dreamed of going on adventures divine.
From his perch on the coop he sat,
And surveyed the land that spread out flat.
Out there, somewhere, a castle he saw,
And a chicken princess in a tower so tall.
A dragon above threatened below,
But Frank the rooster would strike a blow!
And then he would journey to a town nearby,
With chickens so many their requests he would comply.
An orc! An angry wolf! A devilish ne'er-do-well!
But Frank the rooster would send them to hell!
The princess, the town, the whole world would cheer!
Frank the rooster would never have to pay for a beer!
Everywhere he went, he would bellow a song,
His sword would slash, and his wings would be strong.
Oh, but what worlds await!
If only he could escape his crate.
Oh, but me oh my.
For Frank the rooster, his dreams would never die.

Your poem was fantastic from beginning to end, it makes me want to read it again. When I read the poem aloud, it flows very smoothly and a nice rhythm (mostly). I love how you describe Frank the Rooster himself and paint a pretty good picture of him. The imagery in the entire poem brought a lot of imagination.
The one minor thing I would say that needs improvement is the "Oh, but me oh my.", since it breaks that flow. It feels that part should have been "But, oh me oh my.". But that's just one minor nitpick. Overall I love your chicken poem and hope Frank the rooster's dreams would never die.

Goodnight and good morning, Rokita.
His dreams would never die :'[[[[
It's a bittersweet work!
It is!
What's with all the chickens? Do they need to be herded or something?
Hi there! I'm Green, here for a quick review of your poem.
I will section out my review into different aspects of the poem and my analysis, with any critical feedback given at the end, followed by an overall conclusion.
The story of the poem:
You use a lot of vivid imagery and descriptive language to paint a picture of Frank's daring aspirations. The poem effectively captures the spirit of Frank's dreams and his unyielding determination to overcome any obstacle that stands in his way. The ending of the poem, with its emphasis on Frank's unending dreams, is particularly powerful and leaves a lasting impression. Overall, this is a wonderful piece of poetry that is sure to delight and inspire its readers.
The structure and form of the poem:
Your poem has a strong rhyming structure, with each stanza rhyming in an AABB pattern. I thought that this rhythmic pattern not only made the poem fun and engaging to read, but also reinforced its playful and almost whimsical tone. The rhyming help build momentum throughout the poem and keep the reader interested as they anticipate the next rhyming couplet.
In terms of form, your poem is comprised of sixteen lines divided into eight couplets, and I think that this provides a clear and concise narrative structure for the reader. Each couplet highlights a different aspect of Frank's adventures and the obstacles he has to overcome, building a sense of anticipation and excitement. The poem's structure contributes to its overall coherence and helps to keep the reader engaged.
Imagery:
I really liked the use of strong imagery to really bring the poem to life as a story. The use of strong and active verbs like "threatened", "strike", and "send" bring these imagined escapades to life. The description of Frank "bellowing a song" with how his "sword would slash" and "wings would be strong" adds to the adventurous and heroic tone of the poem.
Overall:
Overall, the poem is a creative and entertaining take on the dreams of a rooster and offers a fun and imaginative escape for the reader. I really enjoyed this poem and it's playful nature.
Hello @Nate I'm here for a small review, I'm trying something new and going to tell you my reactions to the poem as I read it. I hope that's okay.
Did someone put you up to this? It was lliyah wasn't it, her and her chicken obsession.
Hmm me is jealous because I can't rhyme this well. You did a really good job at rhyming and this is something that I can only dream of doing.
I think Frank thinks very highly of himself, His quite a funny rooster. Oh dear what's he going to do when his imagination come tumbling down on him.
Oh free beer I didn't know that roosters drank beer but okay that's super cool.
I'm totally loving the imagery I'm getting here.
His just a rooster with wild dreams but his stuck in a crate. This poor guy all he wants to do is live the best life he can, and I guess his imagination is as far as he can go with that.
Okay I did have one suggestion for one of your lines, and the word in that line is in bold.
Suggestions
Your Line: Oh, but me oh my.
My Change: Oh, but my oh my.
See only changed one word, I just feel like me is disrupting the flow a little bit.
So that's all I can say, it was so nice reading something written by you Nate, and I'm really hoping to read more of your works. So, if I was being harsh, I'm really sorry that was not my intention, I'm only saying what I think might be helpful, I hope to read more of your poetry, keep up the great work.
I hope you have a great day/night witch ever side of the world your on.
