1. Ten reasons!? Isn't one enough?
2. Logging onto YWS to see four of the five featured works is about stuff I'm afraid of is frightening to say the least.
3. Getting texts from friends of mine who aren't and have never been YWSers but who -- for whatever reason -- apparently check the site out from time to time, and having to explain to them what's going on is scary.
4. I once bought a book of David Letterman's Top 10 lists and was so severely disappointed by my purchase that ever since I've scrupulously avoided Top 10 lists. I was doing pretty well until this weekend!
5. I'm scared someone will really figure out what I'm afraid and then my enemies will exploit that weakness.
6. The only episode of Sesame Street that I remember well involved the number 10 and the Count guy. I did not like the Count guy.
7. I'm concerned that somewhere there is a secret cabal churning out these things about me.
8. Lies! They're all lies!
9. Pish posh! I'm not afraid of anything!
10. In an alternate universe, YWSers are currently publishing "10 Reasons Why Cronenberg Nate Is Afraid Of Things With Two Legs," and the possibilites frighten me.

Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
This is a test comment.
I like the count guy.
This is...actually pretty funny. And one of the best 10 reasons lists I've read on the website. Not really surprising though, considering that you're the creator of the website so I'm figuring that you've got a good amount of experience xD
Although I loved every single one of the numbers on this list, I'd have to say that are my absolute favorites are tied between numbers four and eight. Also, I'm sorry about your experience with the David Letterman book -- it's never fun to lose money on a bad book when you could've spent it on a good one.
Love the response!
Hello, Nate. So, I haven't seen you around at all, and haven't seen anyone mention or talk about you, so I can only guess that you are new.
CandyWizard here for a review. It's pretty confusing when people don't mention that it is a review, because it does not say anywhere above the comment itself.
So, here we go.
A very original idea, after you spend some time on YWS you will find that we seldom get "10 reasons" posts.
1. You start with a bang. A very emotional line, one that invoked a whole palette of feelings. Why should anyone require multiple reasons to do anything? Why must we explain ourselves to people, why must we provide justification for the way that we feel? This line alone is reason enough for another sleepless night.
2. I agree, such coincidences can be staggering on a frightening level.
3. Ah, friends... Did you find out about YWS from them?
4. I don't know, your list is pretty good... for someone new to YWS. But you probably spent many hours preparing it, and possibly even gone through several drafts, so you deserve credit for that.
5. In the words on Sun Tzu, "make your enemy think that you are weak when you are strong, and that you are strong when you are weak", so perhaps what appear to be one's greatest strengths can really be their weaknesses. We can only hope that our rivals do not see through it.
6. I will not review this part because I refuse to be a puppet of the system.
7. Yes, there is a cabal out there that preys on new YWSers. You should be most careful, lest you be converted to their destructive, cultist ways.
8. This line makes this entire work super relatable.
9. That's the spirit! Very motivational! Don't let your fears inhibit your dreams!
10. This makes us wonder: In an alternate universe, maybe you discovered Earth's second Moon, or you invented the paper clip, or perhaps you even star in "Star Wars Episode X: Ten Reasons To Join The Dark Side".
I hope my review helped, and helped motivate you to keep on writing, like you motivated me to write this review. Keep up the great work!
Actually, if you see the date he became a member, he's been a member for 11 years. So he's not new.
Ummm, guys, I have a feeling that he's being sarcastic.
@LordZeus, you are not wrong xD
@TheSilverFox, both AlexSushiDog's comments refer to Lord's comment.
Yep, Candy, and his responses are hilarious. XD I'm just saying that LordZeus took Candy's review too seriously, when Candy was simply using verbal irony by describing something that he knows isn't true.
I wonder if Nick read it.
...I mean Nate. It's so hard to remember these new YWSers. xD
nice damage control
