So I'm making up for lost time and erasing all of the mistakes. These final hours would pass so easily if I pretend...
That you really, truly loved me and that
I loved you too.
That you were there for my mother,
through thick and thin.
That you thought about me every single day while
you were gone.
That there was no bitterness felt towards
my only grandmother.
That you knew the answers to my mothers questions.
I know I will never get the chance to say any of this to you.
Despite all of the pain, I can't help loving you with all of my heart. I only hope you love me too.

This isn't like my usual style. As I don't normally write this kind of poetry. It just felt right to write this now. Feel free to leave any comments.
