Caylee

In Songs and poems.

Rip it up...go ahead! I wrote this because I was sad about Caylee Anthony. Give me your suggestions and such. I'd like to improve this. :)

Staring up with eyes that will never see the sunshine again,

All she sees is her plastic jail.

A mouth that will never warm the world with a smile again,

But, if only she could, would let out a wail.

The little darling all wrapped up,

Lying lifeless in the ground.

We all wish she could live once more,

But still she stays in a mound.

Only two years old and the Angel lay,

Dead and wondering where her mother went.

But soon an Angel came to take her to Heaven,

And that angel was God-sent.

Despite where she dwells happily today,

We wish she could tell us somehow…

Who would kill this darling?

And leave her like this now....

Very touching poem! This truly was a terrible tragedy what happened to the little girl. This poem had a nice flow and it was very emotional. Keep up the great work!

I think your poem is heart warming. I didn't see any mistakes which shows how much time you put in this poem (along with the poem itself of course). I think it was a terrible thing that happened to this little girl and I think it wasn't a good call for her mother to be not guilty but I guess we will never know what happeed to this amzing two year old that lost her life unnecesarily. The poem totally makes me feel good inside because I know you, who cares so much.

Hello there. First of all, this is a tragedy what happened to this little child. Caylee Anthony deserved to have a life, but I can't say the same for Casey. What she did was wrong and to find her innocent of such a crime? I'll never understand why she did what she did, but no one will. (Also, she's telling everyone she's pregnant again. Why would God give her a gift so precious just for her to destroy it?)
Anywho, getting off my soap box now! This is really great and it brought tears to my eyes. When I heard what happened to this little girl, I was so devastated that someone could do such a thing to something so beautiful. I think you wrote it better than any poems I've read so far.
I didn't see any mistakes, spelling or grammar wise, so good job. Keep writing, this is amazing. If you need anything else reviewed, just let me know and I'd be more than happy to take a look at it.

No my boyfriend didn't know who Caylee was either when he read it. Caylee Anthony is the daughter of Casey Anthony and Casey was put on trial for the murder of her daughter.

That was really good! I loved the last line being a cliffhanger. Great writing! I didn't see any grammer errors or anything like that, so good job there. The idea of it was good too. One question, and maybe I am just an idiot, but who is Caylee Anthony? Like i said, I'm probably just being an idiot...

I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
