Blinded By Love

In Poetry

On the wings of a wild falcon there rests the world.
The vast and the beautiful, with lots of stories untold.
Of people not rich, of people bound by love,
Of countries from below and clouds of above.

What lies in the heart of the wild falcon?
Does he grieve for you like I do?
What eats the heart of the wild falcon?
Does he search for you like I do?

The journey you took, the people you've met,
I hope there's nothing you will ever regret.
The me you left alone in the morning sun frays,
The distant back of you I watched as if in a daze.

Did you reach the end? Did you learn to fly?
Was your road worth my feelings when you waved goodbye?

Look, the whole world is watching,
The life you've abandoned,
The warmth that we've shared.
There's nothing now that can be repaired.

You must be lonely now,
Carrying the whole world in your hands.
Reflected in your eyes -
The smiles of the inconceivable future,
And the emptiness of the solitary grasslands.

But this is where our story ends.
The story of people not rich, of people bound by love,
Of countries from below and clouds of above.

This piece of work, no not work, pure art is...there are no words to describe this poetry. It is beautiful, enthralling, capturing, fantastic, and simply put amazing.

You have wonderful imaginary. You tell a story with your words. A story that had me caught in the first stanza!

Keep it up, I will surely review anything you point my way!

“Can a magician kill a man by magic?” Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. “I suppose a magician might,” he admitted, “but a gentleman never could.”
