A ghost shall recite the words I now speak.
A prayer for strong and a prayer for weak.
Open your minds for opinions of the great.
Close your minds to the oppression and hate.
Hear us speak, follow the sound.
We hear you speak, almighty crowds.
To the sound of our voices, dance in the rain.
We are the chosen, we relieve you of pain.
By candle light we read your lips.
In the night fall we sing for you.
By the break of day we travel again.
At the time of noon we take away your pain.
Like a leaf in the wind we cross kingdoms.
Bringing the masses together.
Listen they did, and now they are free.
In death we unite and bring greatness to thee forever.
Arise true warrior, ascent to your throne.
Know with us here, you shall not be alone.
Warriors of greatness of which we are.
Bring punishment to those who oppose near of far.
Warrior all your wishes shall come true.
Death to deserving and freedom to your loyalists.
We not longer follow the reigning or the strong.
We follow you all mighty, the non believers are wrong.
We follow you.
We deliver your mighty words.
We share your knowledge and wisdom to the people.
We are the wind that spreads word across the globe.
We are the followers of the great one.
The divine one.
The trusted one.
Unto death we follow.
We shall bring great to those who resist the forces of those who would push you to change.

This is a very beautiful, very haunting poem and I loved every line of it. Thank you so much for posting such a beautiful poem!
There is something so chilling about the fact that you said, "we" instead of "I". For some reason, it is far more chilling as, "we".
My only nit pick is this: "In the night fall we sing for you", I believe should be changed to, "In the fall of night, we sing for you." This illustrates a fall before you break through at the break of day. It feels more emotional that way.
Thank you for the wonderful poem and keep it up!
I really do like how this is written; the flow and the constant theme is good. The only things Ive noticed are that in the second line, 'a prayer for strong and a prayer for weak' although just about makes sense, would be better as 'a prayer for the strong and a prayer for the weak' - adding 'the' would make it run smoother, I think.
Another thing would be the commas. The ones you've put in are perfect, don't worry - it's just when you've written, say, 'by the candlelight we read your lips' (I think that's the quote), a comma probably should be put after the candlelight, to make it run better. Same with 'By the break of day'
Otherwise, I think this is fantastic and I'd love to read more.
Thank you
And thanks for the tips there also.
This had a nice flow to it. Plus the subject matter was cool too. I could definitely see this being like a pledge of allegiance type thing in some medieval times type of video game. This poem was very unifying, I felt like a was being inducted into a great clan or something while reading it. The only real issue I found was that your rhyme scheme was a bit off. I know that you used some words at the end of a few different lines that would be difficult to subtly rhyme with, but if you could make the rhyming structured even better than it is then this poem would be really good. I still really enjoyed it
Thanks for that
Glad you liked it

Can you explain which parts of the rhyming you were talking about because there was a weird little idea I had with the rhyming and I could explain if you tell me which part it was
Just basically how sometimes 2 lines would rhyme then another 2 lines would rhyme and then ANOTHER 2 lines would rhyme but then one line wouldn't then another 2 would rhyme and antoher one wouldn't you know
The random breaks in rhyming was to symbolise the breaks in unity. Like how you could get so many people to unite then there would be the few every so often that would break away. I wondered how that little idea would come across but it doesn't seem to have came across in the way I intended it XD
That is a cool concept, i dunno maybe I just wasn't apart of the intended audience who would of picked up on it, still liked your poem
Thank you =D
