“Answer me, child“
Answer me this:
In this world where nothing is colourful and fair,
Why are we still playing this stupid, little game?
Making other's lives a living hell?
Tell me, my child:
For what is the meaning behind those faces?
Behind those eyes, behind those gestures?
Their tongues are rolling. When you're crying, they're dancing.
Answer me truthfully:
Now think, what is the use?
Why are those lies blending in your moves?
What is the reason for all the power abuse?
If you're so smart:
If in reality you aren't this pathetic,
And your sobs aren't so magnetic,
For all the people who are now revanging.
If you weren't just an idiot:
I think you would feel a bit of empathy.
For all those people, just looking for some sympathy.
Trying to avoid paths infected by psychopathy.
My little baby:
Use your brain, just this once.
Stop pretending you're above us.
When all you do is sit on your ass.
When will you learn:
For all the small people and the power we hold.
Nothing can erase what has been told.
When your cold words declared a war.
I'll explain, but just once:
Morality. That's a little gift of recency.
Treating people like human beings, it's called decency.
But you'll never know it. For you, they have no dignity.
Oh, my baby..
So innocent, so very young..
Play as you want, use us as your pawns.
But one day you’ll wake up
And you’ll realise you're not the one dealing the cards.
Try to silence us, we’re wielding the dream.
Our words are too smart, they make your mind steam.
Well, too smart only for you, for with your intelligence you don't sin.
You better wake up before we take your will.
By force, of course.
That's what you taught us by showing off you can kill.

Okay. In where I am today or the stage in my life, This feels like a punch in the face at first and then a sentiment of grace. Because of first how one would tend to reflect as the child in the beginning of the rhythm, of being held accountable of responsibilities one was born for but didn't see coming and gets stuck in the face of response when he makes a shortsighted mistake/ or just being plain shortsighted and then you start to feel the narrative of response or need for one, shifting in a intense, malencholy mood that makes one wonder, how bears the child? And the more and deeper you enter the poems narrative you start to feel powerless because of inclusion us and the question to and of the antagonistic mystic that the child/the baby has a hand to play of control and the game is the shape of the child's abuse of power and we that feel to be its pawns to play with, its cards to build a house with, that Morality can seem a shallow spectrum of recency that the baby or childs arrogancy can see to judge upon need, and reliance and dependence ,needing it to be what it is to be or being but neglecting it when it's to benefit it, and disengage human decency at times thinking their smart but only leaving a mess behind of dirt and decay and envelopes us in his demeanor of fear trying to silence the dreams to loud that are isolated in the body that they develop their own smart sense that competes with the childs smarts/intelligence regarding it as greater then the child's and maddening to the child on account that on his or with his own smarts or intelligence the child can see upon themself no wrong, that it litigates the need to wake up in or from what seems a dilutional and dreadful of a game that we the played with, made lame, with hearts that roaring dreams make hard to tame, chasing to wield a name the question being will the child wake up ?or be able to before things run loose, pawns running weary of waiting on when will the child wake up and just in chase of justice take his will with his/the child's initiated rules and guidelines (diluted or dreadful) of how to play to kill.
I adore the concept here, when you write ad though speaking to a arrogant child. You scold the powerful for their ignorance and don't shy to tell them off. I adore your message. That being said, I do believe that in order to grow honestly is essential, so I wanted to ask about your ryme scheme. I noticed that it changed several times throughput the poem? I don't think it was intentional, and if it was I'm curious your thought for including that hit of information. That being said, I still love this work. Sometimes powerful people need a reminder of who truly holds the power. Have a lovely day, or night, depending on where you are and when you get this
Thank you! And I don't really follow any rhyme schemes while writing. I'm focusing more on saying what I have to say lol. I've ream many poems that don't even rhyme but the effect of their thought was even stronger. I adore that
