My. God.
This poem is so beautiful, and I could really connect to it. Which is nice for me, since I usually find it hard to connect to poems that aren't mine. The emotion you put into it is amazing. I loved it.
The only criticism that I might have is that the last line didn't make sense to me too much, you might want to reread it. But overall, I think this poem is emotional and really meaningful. It's just so true, what with the concept of getting torn down and coming out wiser because of it.
Sorry if this is a bad review, I'm kind of new to the concept.
I really like this poem; well done! I like the repitition as this helps to create a flow. I find that this piece really helps to grasp an insight of isolation and how this makes you feel- i love the last line, this helps to add a positive edge of conquering bullies and finding yourself- a lovely write!:)
I. Love. This. Poem! I've attempted to write something like this when I found out about my kidney disease!
No one knows
what it's like
to be chosen
to be broken
from the inside
That's all I got on mine, so kudos to you! You finished your's! Right, onto the reviewing!
I didn't see any spelling or grammer mistakes here, so that's always a plus! I really liked the repetition within the last stanza! It contributed to the flow of the poem! Your stanza organization was good, too. Overall, I'd give this poem a 4 out of 5! It's not the best poem I've ever read, which would be a five, but it's very good! Please write more!
