July Camp Nano 2022: Through A Shadowed Valley

Just going to pop this here for now and reorganise once I’ve worked tour what I am going to do for PlanMo and how many words I am aiming for. Preferably about 200 a day though I can write more than that. (200 times 31 = 6200… might aim for 10 000 or 15 000… definitely has to do with how long I want it to be. I’m going to iron out to 9 000 - 10 000.)

@Carlito I hope this is doable. It is mainly in diary format. So I plan to do one entry every day. I just don't know how long an entry should be... it really affects how much I write. Really have to update this...

I'm really up for either, @AlmostImmortal. We can subscribe to each other's threads and do small reviews for every chapter... or we can PM if it is more convenient.

It depends on in-depth you want to go. I like specific reviews, and I tend to ask my beta readers multiple questions, which would be better in a PM. What style of review would you prefer, though?

Though, we should still subscribe to each other’s forums. Maybe post the chapter on the forum, send the review though PMs?

I think it depends on how often we post. I plan to post every day - which could be exhausting for a very specific review each time. However, if you did a short review or a specific one concerning a few days.

If you’re willing to wait a day or two for reviews, I’ll be able to give a specific review for each. I don’t know if you want to do this, but one thing I’ve found helpful is to have a set list of questions for your beta readers to answer. Questions like, “what was your favorite part and why,” or “rate this chapter from a scale from one to ten.” I can show you my questionnaire if you’re interested in having something like that.
