Creatures who live under water and speak the mer language. They have sharper teeth and a tail with scales.

Whenever they sense danger, their teeth go in predator mode and become longer and sharper and make some kind of poison in them that if they bite their victim, they get paralysed immediately and die after four hours if not treated.

They breathe through their gills by their neck and above their hips. They eat seaweed and smaller fish. They are creatures who like to be left alone and they don’t willingly help the normal (fae) people.

Move fast, the water is their territory

Easily distracted, not focused.
They can’t stay long out of the water or else they turn in a fish and die.

Sirens

Sirens are similar to Mer, but they grow legs when exposed to air, but their water form and waterborne gifts are rather different. Physically speaking, Sirens have the top half of a usually 'beautiful' human, with the bottom half of fish.

Sirens can only stay out of water for max 72 hours.

Azula Fae (former Atom fae)

They are disliked. An ancient fae of their tribe did something impossible and was cursed for it, that way everyone in his tribe until this day has to carry his burden. They’re variety of blue hair is a mark of the burden, hence their new name Azula fae.

And they are very judgemental, they can also look in a persons past without asking or doing anything.

Natura’s are very calm creatures (monk-like) who have the ability to manipulate nature and they are healing masters.
They have the physical form of a human and are naturally green, because they’re nature.

They tend to be super emotional, and feel strongly about nature and anything created by the planet. Therefore, they feel connected to any flora that surrounds them.
Can’t really fight, and they won’t because they are calm creatures. So they usually get enslaved because of this.

Elves are very social creatures and love to help around and are very hardworking. They have pointy ears and look like a normal human which makes it easy for them to blend in with the mortals whenever they want to visit the human world (if they cover their ears of course).
Elves are mostly underrated creatures in the world of Nimloth even though they do a lot of hard work.

Pixies are small creatures who also have wings. They are known for being the messengers across the country, because they can turn so small that they are usually not in harm's way and the messenger doesn’t get killed this way.

They are usually confused with lighters because of their wings and are a far family of Natura’s.

They are small and fragile

Lighters ☀️

Lighters are and have beautiful (black) wings on their back. They are picky creatures, but sweet by heart. They have the ability to work with the light of the sun and are the weakest in the nights. They often get confused with Fire Fae, because of their temper. They can talk with dead people and connect others with them for just a while.

Recap

Recap time! (on behalf of Nadya and me) Although both Nadya and I spent more time on holiday stuff than writing, we managed to get a few things done

Nimloth is a project we've been working on for quite some time and we've done a lot of work on it. In July of this year we set some goals, made a nice little wfp and started. There was a lot of worldbuilding, more than we put into the thread. We made a map of Nimloth to put all the locations in, which also helped to create a clear storyline, as the novel is chronological.

The character development, as most of you must've seen, was immense. A lot of time was spent on character development (and it was totally worth it!! XDD). Based on the characters came the twists and turns which, if you heeded the warning, you are completely unaware of (if you are aware, I can hardly blame you, because I'm pretty sure I would've read them too XD).

We also went through a few tiny parts of the draft we already had and started rewriting them. So far we have two chapters. Each chapter gets three perspectives, and there are 6 main characters??

Pheww, seems like we did do some stuff XD There's still a lot to do, and we'll continue as time allows. A big thanks to everyone who left a comment <33 And even if you only scanned the first page, thanks for taking a look at this mad, magical, complex project
