The lights flicker on and I find myself in the kitchen, Rayah lying on the floor with her arm cut open. Swearing, I drop beside her and take her in my arms, "What the hell? Rayah, wake up, please. S'gonna be okay."

I get rid of the light in my hands and look around too, hearing Jace and leading Jackie to him.

Rayah

I flutter my eyes open, my eyes hurting and the cuts spelling out a sentence. Death will find you.

I follow, still on the lookout.

I read the message and swallow, "Yeah. That's great. Very comforting. Thank you, creepy girl."

I lead her into the kitchen and freeze in my tracks, seeing the blood and the knife.

I run a hand through my hair and swallow, trying to block any memories of my wrist.

Rayah

It starts hurting and I close my eyes, "It-It hurts."

I look at Jackie before glancing at Rayah again, "N-Nic, get me something to stop the bleeding. Pain medicine too."

I set a hand over my wrist for a moment before snapping out of it and giving Jace a hand towel.

Rayah

I wince and swallow.

I put pressure on the wound and try to stop the bleeding, keeping her head on my shoulder, "S'okay. Relax."

I make my way back to Jackie, distantly.

I keep my eyes closed and sigh.

I study her for a bit before sighing, "You wanna lie down somewhere? The floor doesn't look so comfortable."
