I look around as we walk, staying close.

Rayah

I cuddle into him, shivering.

I freeze, Juliet tapping me on the shoulder. I don't turn around, afraid to.

Jace

I flash a smile before worrying and wrapping my arms gently around her again.

I freeze as well, slowly removing my hand from Jackie's, and turn around. Sh*t. Great. Just what I need when I'm in a state of mind like this. A psychotic showdown.

Rayah

I yawn, tired.

I turn around as well, slowly, before Juliet slaps Nic across the face, "What te f*cking hell is your problem!?"

Jace

I close my eyes, "Get some rest. You've been through a lot today. Let yourself heal."

I flinch when she slaps me, but don't dare move to retaliate, "I have a lot of problems, but you wouldn't know."

I make sure Nic is okay before looking at her, "You didn't even help him through anything. Did you use his for popularity?"

She shakes her head, slapping me as well before more images hit me. Fangs. Strength...

I open my eyes and wait for her to fall asleep before allowing myself to.

I set a hand on Jackie's cheek before moving her behind me, sure she's okay. The look in her eyes scares the sh*t out of me, and the look in Juliet's doesn't exactly make things any better.

"Don't ever touch her again," I turn to Juliet, my jaw set. "We were a thing, yeah, but you knew coming into it that all those d*mn rumors were true. Dont' you dare act surprised that something like this happened. I warned you before anything happened with us that there was a possibility. You may have cared, may have attached, but you shouldn't have. You're a nice girl, but you aren't mine."

Not able to, I shiver again and keep my eyes closed.

I swallow, my eyes still wide, and Juliet shakes her head, her eyes watering, "You...You weren't doing this for long...?"

I don't answer and her eyes turn red, making me gasp, "Julie," I whisper, "Please, I--"

"Just shut up!" she hisses, looking at Nic as she crosses her arms before looking at me again, "Hes gonna do the same to you. Just wait."

Jace

I rest my head atop hers and sigh.

Not to you, Jackie. You know that. You're different. I take a step back and keep Jackie behind me, "Just go home, Julie. There's someone better for you out there somewhere. Just go home."

Rayah

Not feeling good, I wrap my arms around my stomach.
