Detention: Magic Edition

Railyn glanced over at the professor. He was sound asleep. "Okay, well, that one's one thing solved. Onward!" Kynina blasted the window open. "Nice shot! Okay, who's first?"

"Has anyone scoped out the ground below the window yet? Is it grass, or stones, or...?" Pren eyed the window with a mix of excitement and wariness.

"Oh! I have something that'd work." Cyra held up a glassed bottle. It looked to be handmade and a very peculiar shade of green. "I can take care of Mr. Teach."

"According to Thane, we're climbing," Kynina said, "so it shouldn't be a problem what the surface below is."

Railyn glanced back at grumpy, who was still sitting, looking at them with --was that amusement on her face? "Wanna show us how it's done?" He asked.

Safi was feeling reckless at the moment. It wasn't often she was part of a thing a lot of people her age were doing and she actually kind of wanted to be a part of it. "Me"

She marched over the window. Looking down, it looked a lot higher than she imagined, but that didn't stop her. She climbed over, channeling her affinity to wrap around her into the hissing arcs that she was so familiar with. Using it like a very sparky, very bright rope, she was soon dropping down, jumping the last few feet as she landed on her feet like her instructor had taught her.

"Awesome, person with a bottle in their hand! Go for it." Pren grinned.

Thane watched Safi, then sighed. “Want to? No,” she replied shortly before walking to the window and swinging her body out, her feet feeling for foot-holds in the bricks.

"Yes! Chaos!"

Railyn always had so much to add to a situation.

Cyra approached the teacher, the glass bottle in her hands. "Everyone, hold your breath, or you're going down with him." He slammed the glass bottle on the table, sending glass scattering everywhere.

Railyn glanced over to see people climbing down. "That's boring." He glanced at Kynina. "Last one down does the other's homework!"

Safi backpedalled out of the way as she saw the scary girl start to climb down. She definitely had done this before if that practice ease was any indicator.

Kynina pinched her nose with one hand and shook her head at Railyn as she sat on the windowsill, then started to climb down with the others.

Pren held his breath as he skipped over to the window. "I'm going next!" He flashed a thumbs up and carefully crawled out, using various handholds to lower himself down.

"Go us," cheered Safi, doing a little jig. The excitement was starting to get to her a little bit much maybe. At least Lyn would be proud of her.
