Because they miscostrued the meaning of the word 'emotional' to mean down-in-the-dumps depressed, and they have to fit their label. It's circular, apparently, and so without a doubt, fallacious.

Really, if reality were defined by mere perception and numbers tallied up on viewers gave a good impression of how many perceived it favourably, then reality would be reality TV.
