This is my first NaNoWriMo. For this year, I have taken a snippet of one of my old dust-collecting ideas and have added on to it for the plot. For inspiration, I have made two possible covers for my novel for if I end up finishing it. I would like your opinion on which one is better (be warned that they are similar). Cover A:

Cover B:

Also, feel free to share any of your cover designs for your NaNoWriMo.
Jaetwee, I much prefer the second of the covers - it is much cleaner, clearer, snappier and as Lauren2010 said, it looks nicer with the text not interfering with image. It also looks much more profesional than the first cover.
As for Lauren2010, at first glance I preferred the first of your two covers, but once I looked more closely, I couldn't decide between the two. In the first image, you can see much more of the detail and it looks 'nicer' almost as in cosier, but cosier is the wrong word. In contrast, the second cover is much more dark and mysterious owing to the strange and dark colours. It depends what feel you're going for to what cover you should go for.
Hope it helped xD
- From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it -
- If the doctor told me I had 6 minutes left to live, I'd type faster -
I liked the second one for Laura the most, but if she were to get rid of the words in cover A, i might throw my vote in for A. Quick sum B if words in A A if no words in A
