dreamtime kangaroos
waltzing walruses and toads
asking you to dance
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

Asking you to dance,
pinprick slips of dragonflies
diving through the air.

diving through the air,
rain becomes river water,
a drop; an ocean.
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

A drop, an ocean;
the small raindrop explodes and
submerges my mind.
When you're faced with something you don't understand, I think the most natural thing but also least interesting thing you can be is afraid.

Leaves of summer drop
Into the cold stream water
That has stolen my voice.
The name's Myth.

(@Gravitem for this thread you have to use a version of the last line of the last haiku, for the first line of your own haiku)

that stolen voice heard,
echoing long afterwards
what have I just said?
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

What have I just said -
the words fly from my mouth like
jays, soaring away.

jaybirds soar away,
lost in clouds, they touch spring sky,
the sun grows new wings.

The sun grows new wings,
Feathers reflect their own light
This is what dawn means
"What is grief, if not love persevering?"

This is what dawn means,
To gaze at the sunrise,
Imaging the warmth upon your skin,
If I could have anything I could ever want... It would be having Spotify Premium ;-;

(a haiku has 5 syllables in the first line, then 7, then 5 -> syllable counter) :)

with light from the past,
the future stumbles forward
ready for today.
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

I was weeping as much for him as her; we do sometimes pity creatures that have none of the feeling either for themselves or others.
— Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights
