I look at her arm, feeling somewhat repulsed by how it happened, and think that I should have been there before stopping myself. Not my responsibility...

"Let's go." I say, gently setting my hand under her elbow. "We'll see what we can do back at camp."

He tries to touch me, probably wanting me to sit down, and I back up, remembering what Tori said about me. I swallow and bring my shaking hands in front of me to sign.

I want to stay with you and Twila. I want to be like you. My sister wants nothing with me anymore.

I sat high up on a tree over looking the training area my top pupil, Zaen was training in. In the month's after I had recruited her she has been prominit in her studies here at my base in Illinios. I was a hidden and so was she, Zaen who I recruited three month's ago was a shadow who's sister has been unknown to me. I haven't been sure what's become of her but I could guess that she joined the Loyalists. Twila who had become a very close friend to Zaen had been helping me train Zaen since her recuritment, Zaen I had high hopes for, high hopes she'll be my successor and take on my duty as a Master Swordsman and be able to handle Masamune, my blade. I watched on as she cuts down three more of her given target's. I jumped from my perch and landed on my two feet thanks to my wind affinity.

"That is enough, Zaen come over here. Twila you may leave if you wish." I told the two.

After training with Twila, who had become a close friend and even had learned a few simple signs, Nephil calls me over and dismisses her. I walk cautiously over, wondering if I'd done something wrong, and wait for him to speak.

"In the short month's you had joined the Hidden and enlisted in my classes you have quickly rise above all my other student's and become my top pupil, it's time to receive a blade that marks you as so." I said.

I walked off towards a corridor that lead to my room, we walked in quite as we did so, soon we came to my room. I pull out my keys to my door that would have orginally been locked all hour's of the day, opened. I turned on the light switch inside, my room was littered with personal photo's or swords from my past. I walk to one that was kept up, cleaned, and continually sharped. I pull it off it's spot on the wall, the sword in it's sheath. I turn to Zaen was standing behind me.

"Hold out you're hands." I tell her.

she does so and I hold the blade above her hands.

"As my top pupil you receive the blade I once held when I was the successor to my Master, with this blade you can not no longer call me by my real name, from here on you must address me as Master. For with this blade you are here on receiving much tougher training, and are now my apprentice. Is this understood?" I ask her.

Nephil leads me back to his room, which makes me slightly awkward. I'd never been in a boy's room before. I take in all the photos and his other possessions in awe, wishing I had something similar, before he pulls out a sword and deems me his apprentice.

"Is this understood?" He asks.

I nod and smile, flattered, though it might be hard only calling him Master.

I place it slowly in her hands and nod to her with a smile. As I leave to my door as she reluctantly follows behind, taking in my room as she walks out I close it back up and lock it, As we walked back down the hall to the training arena only to have another Hidden who had been here for a few months now, only to receive horrible news.

"Sir Nephil, horrible news yet another Hidden group has gone missing, and no words has come back on there whereabouts's." He said.

"Again?" I looked at him.

"I'm afraid so sir." He said.

"Set up an expatiation group for there last know whereabouts I'm going to find out what's going on, oh and my apprentice is coming with." I said looking to him.

He smiles at me and we walk out, heading back to the training area. A Hidden runs up to us and reports bad news to Neph- I mean, Master. He responds with an order, making sure the Hidden knows I shall accompany him. When the boy's gone, I look at Master.

Are you sure you want me with? I sign, I'm ready for that?

I see Zaen sign her worries as the boy runs off, I turn to her with a worried look on my face, I take a deep breath and put on my best leader look possible.

"Don't worry as long as you are with me I shall not letting anything take you, besides this will give us some time to see the outdoor's once more as we haven't been above ground in the last few month's." I sign to her.

Her stress seems to ease with that note and I begin to walk down the hall headed for the lanching bay. In full honesty I was worried to what was going on, there was no way Trever or any Loyalist could eliminate so many groups of hidden in so little time. Something big was happening and something told me I may not return from this.

He reassures me and I nod, lightly smiling. It would be nice to be above ground for a change..

He leads me back down the hallway and into the launching bay, lost in his thoughts. I try to keep mine from preoccupying me, not wanting them to wander back to my past.

My fingers run over the hilt of my new sword, old memories replaying in my head. How did things get so screwed up? What happened to the time when everything made sense?

There's a knock at my door and I rise, sheathing my sword and heading towards it. I unlock it and find Mince there, looking bored.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"More people disappeared," he replies, "That, and you told me to tell you when the others woke. They're all in the valley, waiting like you asked."

I nod and turn to grab my jacket. Slipping it around my shoulders, I walk out and lock my door behind me. Mince and I head out of the metal-cased shelter and down to the basin of the valley. Stella, Tori, Nikki, and the other new recruit to replace Simon stand there ready.

Sighing, I stand before them as Mince files back at their sides.

So much had happened, I couldn't believe it. I have longer hair, more red Then brown I suppose, and my skin became tanner. My bangs hung over my left eye and I always had a smile in my face. My eyes became more and more red the More I used my powers, became less brown. But having them be an auburn like I've always wanted was nice. My bow and arrow slung on my back, Trevor walks out into the valley.
I was already pretty used to my powers. I warmed myself up, creating a small fire and light barrier around myself, keeping my distance from just about everyone just in case I let it out by accident. My eyes turned orange, getting more red the more I used them.

"Who's first?" Trevor asks.

I confidently raise my hand, smiling.

"Do I fight you or something?" I ask, smiling wider.

I led Trevor to the others. So much had happened in the months after the twins had their confrontation. We all matured and gained a better understanding onour powers. We had recruited another to replace Simon, my old friend I used to joke around with.

I managed to unlock all gates and now had a secret form that let me use all of my fire power. The sword in it's hilt was slung across my shoulder kept my transformed state sealed. Whenever I unsheathed the sword, I would instantly transform. Trevor warned me to keep it sheathed unless in times of an emergency, since I almost lost control the first few tims of going into the state.

"Who's first?" Trevor asks when we enter the valley, snapping me out of my memories.

"Do I fight you or something?" Tori said when she saw us.

I smiled and launched myself into the air, fire harmlessly shooting from my feet. The new recruit stared at me with shock and wonder as I harmlessly landed on a branch.
Writing your name can lead to writing sentences. And then the next thing you'll be doing is writing paragraphs, and then books. And then you'll be in as much trouble as I am!

Twila-
Many things have changed since Mark's death. When we first reached the base, I didn't say anything for a week. I was much too busy thinking to talk. What did I know about this world I'd been thrown into? It was so dangerous, so strange, and, as I'd come to realize since Mark's death, so very bad. But as the sun rise's reminded me, so very, very good.
I speak now, but not nearly as much as before. I haven't stopped moving, except for sunrises and to sleep, since Mark's death. It used to be because there was so much to do and I was impatient to do all of it. Now it's to ward off the memories.
Zaen and I get along very well; I know some signs, but not nearly as many as I want to. I'm learning, and some day I'll be fluent I'm sure, though I don't know how soon that day will be.
Hi, I sign to Zaen, "Nice sword."

While Trevor and Tori bantered back and forth, Mince did his rocket launch thing again.

"Stop that, Mince!" I chuckled. "You'll scare the new guy!" Mince just pointed, and we both laughed at the new recruit's startled expression.

"It's okay," I said. "You'll get used to it." I tilted my head sideways. Because it was daytime, I had my vision tuned to ultraviolet, and in this particular bandwidth, the new recruit's face was a particularly interesting shade of hamlish (I made up names for the "colors" I could see).

I turned away from the hamlish-colored recruit, not wanting to scare him with my blank stare. After glancing around for a few seconds for something to look at, I turned my attention to my bow. I had made it a few months ago out of one of Tori's arboreal victims. Trevor had suggested it--my vision would let me shoot at stuff in the dark. I had practiced with Tori every day since the day I'd made it, and I was getting pretty good.

Meanwhile, Tori was still waiting in the clearing for Trevor. I sat down on one of the lower branches of Mince's tree. This was going to be interesting.

Twila meets up with us and signs a greeting to me, complimenting a sword. Not wanting to take the credit for anything, I point to Nep- I mean Master, to show her where it'd come from. I left it for him to explain if he chose to.

Tori volunteers and hopes for a fight. Sighing, I back up a little, giving space between us and the others. I make sure my arms are covered in the leather covers I'd learned to use around her before getting into stance.

"No holding back, blazes," I flash a smile, "A Hidden wouldn't do the same to you."
