Nephil

"I believe I should take my leave before either side comes along and finds us." I said.

I stood up and went the way I came, leaving Trever there alone. I make it back to where we were camping out at. I saw Twila still fast asleep as always, but Zaen was no where to be seen. I looked around franticlly but she was no where to be found, I sat down opposite of Twila and hoped Zaen was okay.

Trevor

Nephil leaves without a problem and I stay put for a second, not ready to head back yet. Taking a few deep breaths, I decide that I should go back anyway, finding Tori missing. A strain of panic passes through me before I remember she's not mine to keep a leash on.

Zaen

I wake, noticing that Nephil is gone, and decide to find somewhere to be alone, not wanting to wake Twila with anymore tears. Stumbling through, I trip and hear my ankle snap, a gasp escaping my mouth. Tears burn behind my eyes as I sit back and cradle my ankle.

Why can't things be like they were before?!

I groan silently and try to compose myself.

Victoria

I wake, dried tears on my cheeks. I wipe them away and stand. I was in the middle of the camp. Trevor was gone.

I took my bow and arrow from my back and left to go hunting. I saw Zaen and saw her injured. I pushed the thought aside and continued running until I found a deer.

Mince

Everything happened so quickly. The conflict ended as fast as it happened. Tori freaked out and ran off, and Trever disappeared. Worried, I tried to follow, but came back to camp. I was just about to dismiss the fire when Trever came back.

Zaen

I hear something in the distance and bring myself to stand, balancing my weight off of my hurt ankle. Wiping my face, I look around and hold my breath.
God, I wish I had a voice right now...

Trevor

Arriving back at camp, I find Mince up and moving around. The worry from earlier resurfaces before I remember he'd healed himself. He sits before the fire, noticing my return, and I decide to sit across from him, chilled from the night air. I hold my hands out above the fire before my fingers begin to tingle from being too close and I am forced to bring them back down.

"Why aren't you resting?" I ask Mince, studying him. "Is there something wrong?"

Tori

I pop out of the woods in front of Zaen with my arrow in hand. I lower it, realizing she's not a deer. I look away, my powers acting up again.

"Hello." I choked.

Zaen

Tori steps from the trees and I tense, studying her.

"Hello," She chokes.

I swallow, looking away, and say nothing.

Victoria

Fire started running through my veins and I kept on trying to hold it in.

"I don't understand," I started. "I don't understand why I can't just be what I want without you getting mad." I said, looking back at her.

Zaen

I look back at her, electricity zapping within my fingertips.

I never said anything about that, I sign, I just don't understand why you'd choose them over me!

Victoria

My eyes turn to a light orange and fire flares from my hands, onto the ground. "Maybe that's because I want to try something new. Something you need to learn to do, sweetheart." I said, chuckling, feeling my stanima rise.

Zaen

I send her a look, not understanding why she was so snappy.

So much for family then, I sign.

Victoria

I snap her a look back. "We might be family...But we'll never be sisters." I muttered, trying to control myself.

Zaen

I stare at her, hurt and unstable on the inside.

Go run back to your masters then. I'm sure they're wondering where you went, I sign, pissed.

Victoria

"I'm not leaving the woods until I find something for us to eat." I said, leaning against a tree. "I bet your 'boyfriend' is wondering the same thing."

Zaen

I'm about to turn away when she calls Nephil my boyfriend. Snapping back to her, I study her.

What? He's not my 'boyfriend'. We just met! I sign.
