I haven't entirely caught up with the posts here or in the main thread yet, but I just wanted to pop in really quickly to say that I'm planning on getting a post up soon! My writer's block has been pretty bad lately, so I haven't really kept up with roleplays. I'm hoping to catch up sometime today. <33
I wasn't able to post yesterday, but I was able to post today.
(I actually reread the story I originally wrote Hades in, so I had an added bit of inspiration when writing my last post. That Hades is technically from the present day and this is his much younger self, but they're pretty similar.)
I find it funny that the greek god doesn't think directly of the greek myth. I'm still unsure if the entire greek mythos is true in Hades' world or if it's just select sotires?
It's select stories! I haven't really outright clarified it, but I've basically been cherry picking the parts that I really like/mesh well with the world building I have in other stories. Greek gods like Hades popped into existence because people believed in them, so some myths are true(ish) because they're recounting the actual actions of the gods, while others are just stories that humans came up with either before or after the gods popped into existence.
Edit: I just realized I completely forgot to include this, but I think Medusa is just a myth in Hades's story. She doesn't really match any other lore I have for his world.
(But the gods are never truly sure what is and isn't a myth, so I'm keeping him on his toes right now. )
And I'm down for you going next! I think the only character we haven't seen a reaction from yet is Elias. If @Carina doesn't mind you going next, I'm cool with you being the next to go!
I posted! I was already intrigued, but now I'm really curious to find out what Maggie's full backstory is. >>
(Also, Carina, if you want to have Elias go along with Hades as he runs for the door, I'm cool with that! But if you want to have Elias just stand there and have Hades make very little progress tugging him along, I'm cool with you including that in your next post, too. )
