So, almost done with making my CP. I sort of want my character's personal arc to revolve around a strained relationship with his family, extended or not. Maybe one of these things our characters are fighting attacks his family, and he'll have to protect them, or something like that.

On that note, @Tortwag, the idea of a hunter might be a good idea. Sae mentioned chosen ones in the background, so maybe the hunter(s) could be someone with their own Rei who knows more about this ancient destiny, and once everyone realises this, we'll transition to the real antagonist.

@Poopsie Rei actually does mean something in Latin - which I know because I studied it - but I'll let Sae reveal that if needed.

@Saentiel Aaaand looks like another person caught up on the Portuguese meaning of the word instead of the Latin one, lol. Now that reference has to be made in the SB XD

@Thundahguy Aaaah, the family card... Yeah, that could totally work!
They could be that, although I didn't want them to be really human in their behavior when I mentioned my idea, more like crazed gunmen that are that specifically because they stopped being humans. So, they could be people corrupted by their Rei, instead, or addicted to it - hence the reference to mass shootings in America. I also gave the examples of Van Pelt and Razoff specifically because although the first one is human and the second isn't, they're... Ugh, they're both seriously messed up XD

@Poopsie, thanks for making your character profile so quickly. "Rēs, reī" actually means "thing, matter or situation" according to my Latin book. Reī is the genitive form of the word - which, long story short, isn't used as much. I just thought it looked cooler than "rēs". I could also argue some reasons why it could be grammatically correct, but I barely understand them and I take Latin.

And, @Thundahguy, I like those ideas!

@Poopsie This is probably gonna sound nitpicky, but I'm actually just slightly confused - isn't Yumi a completely female name, especially if you're from Korean or Japanese descent? Correct/hang me if I'm wrong, but I was totally under that impression. I'm probably biased because I grew up with a Yumi, so, I'll google it to make sure.

Edit: Google says I don't need to be hanged. Whew.

@saentiel, I may reboot Erin Harper for this SB since the activity on Dear Grimm has been dwindling. They were a fun character, but I always feel like I'm slacking when I reuse a character instead of making a new one.
